Mr. Tasha remained on the mountain peak until sunset. The golden, red, and orange hues blended together with scattered clouds, creating a breathtaking visual scene that nourished the soul, Mr. Tasha's gaze was slightly strange, different from before.
He lit a fire and extended his hands toward it to feel the warmth, yet the warmth was physical, not spiritual.
Mr. Tasha took some bacon and placed it on the small pan without oil, then added two eggs without mixing them.
After that, he took some portobello mushrooms from his small bag and skewered them for grilling.
Once the eggs and bacon reached their ideal texture, Mr. Tasha removed them and placed the skewers instead.
He had no bread to eat the bacon with, so he ate it using a spoon. The flavor was rich and fatty, intensely delicious.
Mr. Tasha turned the skewers to grill the other side of the mushrooms, he had chosen this particular type because of its size and density. Once they were cooked, he took a bite, they were full of flavor, tender but not overly soft, making them resemble an ideal piece of meat.
Had spices, garlic, or olive oil been available, they would have brought out the mushroom's flavors in an astonishing way.
Mr. Tasha finished his meal, lit a small lamp, then set up his tent. He placed an insulating mat on the ground, added a light blanket, and removed his shoes. The scent of the earth was truly beautiful, cold winds and light clouds surrounded him.
Darkness descended upon the land little by little until it swallowed everything, then small lights began to illuminate that darkness.
Mr. Tasha's eyes, as he sat outside the tent, remained open, gazing indifferently at the world.
After five minutes, he headed into his tent. He did not think much, he simply threw himself onto the insulating mat and fell asleep.
…
Mr. Tasha left his workplace once again and headed to the street where he had previously seen the girl.
He looked at the place where she once stood for a few moments, then continued on his way.
He arrived home, exercised, took a shower, and ate his meal. Unusually for him, he decided to go out for a walk.
Mr. Tasha's steps were elegant and steady.
From afar, others would see him as a man with an attractive charisma, yet no one, unfortunately, truly knew or understood Mr. Tasha.
He passed through the same street once more, then looked. What he did not expect was that the girl was standing there.
He was stunned and froze in place, he looked at her and thought of her. He wanted to speak to her, he wanted to know the reason.
But the girl turned toward him calmly and smiled with radiance, a feeling of warmth covered Mr. Tasha's heart in that moment.
What was this?
A real feeling, nothing more.
Life seemed to bloom with its flowers, and the emptiness faded away in silence, the girl spoke in a polite and gentle tone.
"Mr. Tasha, you do not need anything. Why are you searching, then?"
"Searching? I am not searching. I want to know why." Mr. Tasha replied, his voice steady.
"Mr. Tasha, do not worry, you will find the answer." she said, then disappeared in silence.
The scene collapsed.
The buildings collapsed.
The sky and the sun vanished.
Mr. Tasha opened his eyes, his heart was calm, no longer empty. It had been another dream, yet it felt more like a message.
He thought of the previous dream, then thought of the day before it.
"It was not a dream. I met her… but I only saw her from afar."
