Everyone knew that Corporal Gabriel wouldn't let the opportunity to get back on Bradley slip. Elaine helplessly sighed to misfortune for being Bradley's partner.
"Since novice 1, 206 and 1000 has joined you, they will help you to share your burdens. You all will be punished for their mistake." Corporal Gabriel, upon the 'Till Death Do Us Apart' law of the Shadow Mercenary Guild said to them.
Bradley who got to know that he was going to get more company for the punishment smiled.
"You guys are going to do three times of whatever the other novices will do. If they are to give me 100 pushups, you will give me 300. Am I clear?"
"Sir, yes, sir!!"
Bradley and his other four members responded.
"For now, we will be focusing on physical fitness. We will be having three training sessions everyday. The morning session, the afternoon session and the evening session.
In today's morning session training, we will engage in a 10km best effort run round the mini mountain southwest of this ground, a squat with calf raise, glute bridge, ball throw and overhand grasp heaves. You are going to do these exercises in 4 sets for each of the exercises with the exception of 10km best effort run which your time to complete the run will be recorded to determine your faith later. There would be 30 seconds rest from exercise which you would be expected to achieve at least 15 reps each.
"Am I clear?"
"Sir, yes, sir!!!"
"Now start moving your asses for the 5km best effort run!!
Novice Elite Team, remember that you are doing 30km best effort run. Now move!!"
Gabriel made a gun shot and urged them to begin their run.
The 1200 novices of Shadow Mercenary Guild set off to begin their 10km best effort run around the mini mountain in the southwestern part of the guild.
Right after they heard the gun shot, Bradley and his team members who rivaled each other took this opportunity to claim the leadership position in the team and left the other novices behind them. Novice 1 who was the handsome fella Bradley felt a sense of hostility from him competed with him in terms of agility and stamina, and the other girls did same with Elaine.
It would take a normal person to complete a 10km best effort run under 60 to 75 plus minutes but since these novice were mostly level 1 body refiners, they covered almost half of their journey under 20 minutes. Which means if they were to keep up with their initial pace, they could finish the run in 40 to 45 minutes.
Shockingly enough, the Novice Elite Team who were tasked to complete 30km best effort run, covered almost 15km under the same time the other novice runners took to cover half of their run.
"Are these 5 people normal?"
"How can they run like cheetah without breaking a sweat?"
The other novices were incredibly shocked by the deeds of Bradley and his team.
"Come on novice 1. You can't tell me this is all you've got." Bradley who was being closely followed by his rival guy, looked behind him while running and mocked the guy who was trying to overtake him. As for the ladies, Elaine was naturally leading, making her the third in position for their unspoken challenge for their leadership.
"Hmph! I will win this race for sure." Novice 1 said to himself after being mocked by Bradley. He stimulated all his internal energy into his legs and that doubled his agility making it raise to around 36 points. His speed accelerated abruptly which caught Bradley off guard and that novice 1 the opportunity to overtake him. Bradley who initially didn't use his 54 points in agility to start this race looked to his rival who was now about 1.5km ahead of him and shook his head. Truly, if he was to use all his 54 points, he would have already completed this 30km best effort run under 30 minutes or less but he didn't want to scare others so he kept his cool.

Leonora who hadn't talked for a while suddenly said.
"And why is that?" Bradley asked.
[I don't find him pleasing to my eyes so make him suffer a defeat to know that he's just a worm compared to my host]
Bradley smiled and prepared to end this game in order to get whatever Leonora had installed for him.
Novice 1 who now had covered 25km felt a strong gale wind pass him out of nowhere.
His vision became even blurred because of how strong the was so he couldn't get a proper view of what was ahead of him.
After about a minute afterward, his vision became clear and it was then did he realized that he who was initially first in this run had been pushed to the bottom of the team. Bradley had already finished his race and Elaine and the other girls were few meters from completing this 30km best effort run around the mini mountain.
"Fuck!!!" Novice couldn't help but curse due to his misfortune encounter with Bradley.
When he got to the finish line where the rest of the team were, he walked straight to Bradley with fury.
"What did you do to me during the race?
I clearly saw that you were almost 2km behind me so how did you and the other girls bypassed me?" Novice asked pointing fingers at Bradley.
"Maybe it was you who was out of gas during the race. Haha!!" Elaine answered for Bradley instead. She didn't really like this competitive guy who initially had some filthy lust in his eyes when he first saw her.
The other girls joined Elaine in laughter.
See that he wasn't welcomed, he turned around and walked way to a spot which was far away from them to rest and wait of the other novices to complete their 10km run.
Approximately 25 minutes later, the last person got to the finish line and they all were summoned back to their training field.
Corporal Gabriel and his team were looking on a digital screen which about 100 inches long and 55 inches wide.
On the screen was the rank of the novices teams according to the time they used to complete their run.
Corporal Gabriel and his team weren't shocked that Bradley's Elite Novice Team won as the first team to finish but after checking the time used by them to accomplish that feast, he had to admit that they were indeed monsters among men.
Novice 1 who was the fifth in position completed the 30km run of his under 40 minutes. Novice 206 and 1000 who were respectively third and fourth took 38 minutes and 38.9 minutes to finish the run. Elaine who came second in the run finished under 36 minutes while the senior man himself did his under exactly 30 minutes. This shocked everyone on the field.
"Mmm!!" Corporal Gabriel cleared his throat after calming down.
"The team that couldn't finish the 10km best effort run under 40 minutes would be punished. As for the Elite Novice Team, they will be rewarded for their efforts but they will still have to finish their today's punishment before.
Now rest for a minute before were start with the other exercises."
