Under an Oak tree sat two youngsters on a bench that was built along the sides of a blue stream.
"What do you mean you lost her forever?" Elaine asked him out of curiosity and concern.
"When I turned sixteen, my dad built a mansion on the Palawan Island as a gift for me. I decided to take Leonora there so that we can spend quality time there can plan our future there together. Initially, the plan was for only the two of us to go there but it ended up with Paul tagging along. Actually it was Leonora who invited him to join us because she didn't want him to feel like he's been left out. We spent two weeks vacation there with no one to tell us what to do. I'd say that two weeks was the most memorable moments of 18 years I've spent on this earth. Paul who was the third wheel somehow managed to express his feelings to Leonora but she politely turned him down and that was the moment things went out of hand."
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
Elaine subconsciously held his hands to comfort him and assure him that it's okay.
"If he couldn't persuade her to accept his feelings, then he would use force. On thr day that our vacation ended, I woke with Leonora nowhere to be found. I searched every corner of the island with my guards but it was like she never stepped foot on the island. It was then did I realise that Paul too couldn't be found.
I left everything behind and rushed back to LA and when I got to the airport, I had a call from an unknown number and the person told me to come to the location he would send me if I wanted see Leonora.
So I rushed to that abandoned house that they asked me to come.
What I saw the moment I got in front of the abandoned house nearly took my soul to the Netherworld. On the roof of the abandoned house stood Leonora with blood stained on her white dress.
I called her name and asked her to stay calm and move back a little and I would come for her.
She looked at my me with tears in her eyes, though she was smiling, and whispered 'I'm sorry Bradley'."
Bradley who was always cheerful was now shedding tears like a baby.
Elaine pull him into her arms and began to soothe him.
"I'm sorry Bradley. I shouldn't have asked you about that"
"It's okay. No need to be sorry. I've always wanted to tell someone the pain I was hiding with my fake smiling facade.
I would have accepted her eventhough she wasn't a maiden again. She thought that she was dirty and she wasn't good enough for me. She jumped from the roofing of the house. I tried to catch her but failed. She died right in front of my eyes and I could do now about it.
I received a video on my phone and in the video was Paul forcefully having an affair with Leonora. Although she was under the influence of an aphrodisiac but she still tried to fight her urge for see. She kept begging him but he didn't yield.
I tried killing Paul several times but all the attempts failed because my dad always intercepted and saved him. Although Paul was punished according to our family rules but it was still not enough for me. Although people may see as like we are brothers but behind the scenes, we are blood bonded sworn enemies ready to tear each other apart.
Since that day, I've never been closed to any girl except you. I don't really know but whenever you smile, I see and feel like she's telling that she fine and happy at the place she is through your smile. And whenever you frown, it's like she's saying that she angry for me not opening my heart to others and also not moving on. I don't know but I see her in you."
He looked into her beautiful eyes and said. Elaine founded herself also lost in his eyes. Her heart was beating as fast as it could. Her brain couldn't really process whatever that was happening. She knew that one thing was for sure, and that was, whatever that would happen next will change both of their lives.
"So would you like me to smile or frown right?" After about a minute of silence between them, she asked while she cleaned the tears on his face with the edge of her sleeve.
"Can you give me the most earnest smile you could ever give a person?"
Both the hands were still interlocked and the cool sound of the stream in motion and the choral voices of the birds around sounded like a natural melody in their ears.
"Okay I would try."
She took a deep breath and from her heart and soul gave a lucent and captivating smile. Her teeth were so bright and the two dimples on her fair cheeks were so deep that one fall in if they tried to jump over.
Bradley got lost in her beauty. He couldn't even utter a word. He even forgot about the mission his system gave him to make Elaine fall in love with him. Right now, he was the one in love.
"Hey! Why are you staring at me like that?
Do you want to ea.."
Before she could say 'do you want to eat me, her lips that was perfectly sculpted was sealed by Bradley's.
Her heart skipped a beat and her brain went blank when she felt a shocking pleasure entering her nerves through her lips.
Though her brain was dead at that moment but her body mysteriously respond to the kiss. Bradley's founded their way around her waist and hers on around his shoulders.
The intensity of the kiss increased as the passion and longing for each other skyrocketed. Their tongues played hide and seek in their mouth as they continued to kiss
"Ahh!" A light moan escaped from her mouth and that moanful sound aroused the hormones in Bradley.
His hand right became a little naughty and began to explore Elaine's body.
