Shadows of Betrayal and Rage
Later that night, in the quiet of their room, Xiao Yan and Mi-An sat together. The sword, the culmination of their struggles, rested nearby.
"Mi-An, tomorrow… everything will end," Xiao Yan said, holding her hand.
"What do you mean?" she asked, confusion and worry etched on her face.
"I have the sword. I will kill the Ansha."
"Xiao Yan… you… when was the last time you saw him?"
"100 years ago. And he hasn't attacked since."
Mi-An's lips pressed together, hesitation and determination warring within her. "No… not again."
Xiao Yan held her hand to his chest. "Try to understand me, uhn."
"Fine. I will follow your decision," she replied, sighing.
But before the night could settle, Mi-An's resolve took a drastic turn. She pressed a small, sharp needle against Xiao Yan's chest. He gasped, then slumped unconscious.
"I'm sorry… I won't let you make a mistake," she whispered.
Outside, Nem appeared, blocking her path.
"Where are you rushing to?" he asked, smirking.
"To find you," Mi-An said, anger flaring.
"Hahaha… and here I am," Nem replied, calm as ever.
"Did you convince XiaoYan not to kill the Ansha, about the relationship between the two" Nem says
"So, you knew, You bastard…" she spat, launching herself at him.
Nem dodged with ease, sending her flying with a single motion. She attacked again and again, but Nem's skill kept her at bay. Her hair darkened, her eyes flared red, transforming her into a fearsome black fairy.
The clash escalated, fury and energy tearing through the air, until Xiao Yan's eyes fluttered open. He heard the sounds of combat outside and immediately sensed the danger.
Nem, seeing Xiao Yan awake, transformed into the Ansha, launching a deadly attack on Mi-An. She fell under the blow, confusion and pain clouding her vision.
Seeing his beloved in danger, Xiao Yan's rage ignited. His aura surged, his body transforming into a massive dragon. With a deafening roar, he hurtled towards Nem, shoving the false Ansha away.
Nem vanished into the shadows, leaving Mi-An unconscious. Xiao Yan carefully lifted her in his arms, gathering the remaining allies. Thinking the Ansha had finally attacked and with a justification, they prepared to embark on the journey to the Celestial Realm, ready to confront the true Ansha and bring an end to the chaos once and for all.
