Chapter 16 - K&B Party

The Regulator's Association was a neutral organization that accepted all Fallen Regulators regardless of their criminal records or backgrounds.

Its website had the records of being the most browsed through website, with thousands of Fallen Regulators accessing it every day.

It also had an online market store where Fallen Treasures of all grades were being sold.

But the two noteworthy aspects of the website were its direct connection between the Guilds.

All active Guilds must be licensed by the Association, making them vassals of the Association.

But the Association was restricted in its control of the Guilds.

But on the Association's official website, there were three active pages left for Guild hunters.

On the first page was the Recruitment Program.

Recruiters from every Guild were ready to attract newly evolved Fallen Regulators into their Guilds.

Except for the Top Guilds who knew what they wanted.

Lesser Guilds were willing to accept anything as long as they were Fallen Regulators.

The second page introduced Players to the Association's official group chat. With tens of thousands of Fallen Regulators actively communicating with themselves.

This is the site were one could easily find the information they needed.

The third page was the job-hunting platform.

This became the most visited spot on the Association's official website as there were many Fallen Regulators who worked as sellswords.

Not wanting to be tied directly by a Great House or a Guild.

But needs a Sanctuary to be anchored temporarily; those who put themselves up for hire were often visited with an invitation request.

Once the invitations were accepted, the other party are able to privately dm the Fallen Regulator.

This was the same case.

"K&B Party huh?" Just as the K&B Party had access to his information, Lenny also had access to theirs.

He was currently studying them.

K&B Party was four man party currently working for a lesser Guild named the Buijun Guild.

A South Korean guild.

Three of the four man party were Americans, with their leader being a South Korean.

Their names were Kennedy, Benita, Fril, and Jay. Two ladies and two men, working hand in hand.

"Not bad," Lenny nodded as he accepted their invitation. Jay was the one in charge of hiring swordsmen like Lenny.

Jay wasted no time messaging Lenny.

Introducing himself as the leader of the raid party, there was only one reason Lenny accepted their invitation.

He needed to be anchored to a Sanctuary.

But that didn't mean he didn't like the raid party, he liked them because of their versatility.

They had one Water Sage, who was Benita. Kennedy is the Knight of the party, a spearman.

Fril is the Misfit of the team; she focuses on suppressing the minds of the Apocalypse creatures, slowing them down.

And Jay, being the leader, was the strongest of them, A sorcerer.

They were all Rank 1 Fallen Regulators; Kenedy and Fril were of the peak stage, while Benita was still a middle-stage Rank 1 Fallen Regulator.

Jay was the only Rank 2 Fallen Regulator of the Party, but of the Initial stage.

Each Fallen Regulator complemented the other in the aspects they lacked; they were too interesting to ignore.

What caught Lenny's interest the most was what they were after.

They were approaching an unexplored region of the Fallen Realm, similar to the Dark Jungle.

And they were preparing to raid a D-tier Dungeon.

Dungeons were considered sacred by the Fallen Realm, with lots of hidden within them.

Since it was a pocket dimension created by the Fallen Realm, acting as sealed gateways to other realms.

They were also filled with lots of dangerous traps, and destructive Apocalypse creatures.

With a dungeon boss ruling that domain.

To conquer a dungeon, one must slay the dungeon boss. A D-tier Dungeon meant it's Dungeon boss is currently within a Level 7 Wanderer to a Level 9 Wanderer.

Wanderers may be one rank higher than Common, but they were in no way weak; just ranking up from Common is a testament to their strength.

Although there was one rank difference, it was like he was going against the Mother of Behovena.

That monolithic spider had the potential of becoming a dungeon boss if there was a dungeon close by.

After a few minutes of discussion, they had concluded what they were going to do next.

Lenny had three days to prepare on Earth, as he would be anchored to the Sanctuary of Tesarrion on his descent.

The K&B Party will be descending tomorrow as they will be preparing themselves for the expedition.

**

Lenny breathed in deeply, "That was tiring" He softly exhaled, "To think I would be going on a dungeon raid the first time I'm descending into the true Fallen Realm"

"I guess I'm quite lucky," He smiled. Lenny lingered for a moment, "I feel like I'm missing something, what is that?" He asked.

"Hey, I think it's me!" The boy raised his hand, but Lenny scoffed, "It would even be better to forget your existence"

The boy grinned, "Is that so? Then why were we needed to console you in your darkest times?" He asked.

He folded his arms, "And besides, I know what you're missing" The boy added.

Lenny raised an eyebrow, "Oh? What may that be?" He asked.

The boy's eyebrows furrowed "You're yet to receive an alert, aren't you going to get something to eat?" He asked.

Lenny's eyes widened in shock, his brother was right. He was indeed hungry, but was too busy to notice.

But before he could say anything, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw a new message.

[$15,000 has been transferred to your account 34***08, Imperium Bank LTD, Department of Regulators!]

Lenny smiled in satisfaction, "Finally," He muttered, adding, "It came late tho" He sighed softly.

Checking out his current balance.

[Your current balance is $15,000]

Lenny chuckled softly, "To think the Government is this stingy, they didn't even add a penny while creating this bank account." He shook his head.

"Well, it doesn't matter tho, $15,000 is a lot, so I'll need to shop for a few things and prepare for my descent." He was on a tight schedule.

Lenny hurried out of the apartment, heading towards a small restaurant, he was hungry.

Despite the fact that Fallen Regulators could go days without food or water, he still needed them to survive.

Lenny had two types of shopping already planned out..

The first involved storing his apartment with foodstuffs, getting a deep freezer, and other appliances for his new apartment.

He wasn't planning on moving out since he had nowhere to go..

He wasn't bothered by the fact that the Government would keep tabs on him and watch his movements.

He had nothing to hide, at least for now.

After getting all he needed for his apartment, he would log back into the Association's main server.

And visit the online market.

There were hundreds of Fallen Relics up for sale, If he was going to descend into the Fallen Realm.

He needed to be fully armed with Fallen Relics.

Just like there are nine levels of Apolcalypse creatures, and nine ranks of Fallen Regulators.

Fallen Relics are categorized in nine grades.

Fallen Relics were crafted using materials from the Fallen Realm, the corpses of Apocalypse creatures slained were fresh materials since they couldn't decay.

And their core generators served as the main power source in crafting Fallen Relics. Granting the user's special effects known as skills.

Grade 1 Fallen Relics were powerful against Common rank Apocalypse creatures while having low effects on Level 1 to 5 Wanderer rank Apocalypse creatures.

Grade 2 Fallen Relics specialize in taking down Level 1 to 5 Wanderer rank Apocalypse creatures but it's effects low against Intelligent Level 6 to Level 9 Wanderer rank Apocalypse creatures.

Grade 3 Fallen Relics were powerful against Level 6 to Level 9 Wanderer rank Apocalypse creatures but had low effects against Level 1 to Level 5 Nightwalkers.

The same process occcurs with the Grade 4, Grade 5 down to Grade 9.

Fallen Relics were important to Fallen Regulators hence why they were expensive in both the association market and the black market.

But he had to make some purchases..

Time wasn't on his side, he had to hurry.
