I ran as fast as my body could in this tight fitting corset and heels.My heart pounded in my chest and thoughts of my family dying filled my head.When I finally reached the party, a gasp escaped my mouth at the sight.Blood was everywhere,on the curtains,floor,food and flowers.Though most of the guest and guards in the room had been killed—all blood drained out of their bodies,we still had the upper hand.

My knees began to shake as tears welled up in my eyes as I watched my little brother that I loved die right in front of me.All the strength in my body left as I fell down kneeling and crying next to his dead body."Please,wake up"I begged.His body began to grow cold in my arms."I don't want to die.Please,help me"He said.People had gathered because the fight was over.Caleb placed his hand on my shoulder and tried to separate me from Nate because they wanted to get him emergency aid.I let my brother go in hopes that they would heal him.

I stood outside the room as the doctors worked on my baby brother.My ears were bloodshot red,makeup smudged and dress crumpled but I didn't care.All I wanted to know was if my brother was safe or not.
My parents and Caleb weren't here because they still had to sort things out.They were rulers before parents.Alexa was nowhere to be found and Ronnie had his head on my lap.

My mind went blank as I sobbed.I felt someone take me in their arms and pat my head I raised my head to see Caleb with tears in his eyes.No words needed to be said.He must have been here all this time.
