Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The End of the Nightmare

Rosy stared at the gun. Victor's gaze was cold but intense.

She wanted to escape, but her heart told her to stay and listen to what Victor had to say.

"Why did you do this to me?" she asked.

"Because I didn't want to lose you," he replied.

Rosy, filled with rage, continued: "Lose me? But you destroyed me!"

Victor replied in a terrifying voice: "It was that or watch you die." His finger trembled on the trigger.

But before he could fire, a familiar voice rang out.

"Leave her alone, Victor. Rosy!" she recognized the voice immediately.

Ranbir appeared in the doorway. His face bore the scars of the fenestration. His eyes, still filled with a deep blueness, gazed at her gently.

Victor, displeased: "Of course, the ghost always returns when I think I've buried it."

"I'm not a ghost," Ranbir retorted.

"I just came to take back what Rosy stole." Rosy, unsure of what to do, remained on the scene. Ranbir pointed his gun at Victor.

"Rosy doesn't belong to you, Victor".

"And you think she belongs to you, Ranbir?"

Ranbir replied in a confident voice:

"No, but I'm the one trying to save her from you."

Rosy, feeling dizzy, raised a hand. "Stop..." But they weren't listening to her anymore.

Two shots rang out almost simultaneously. One bullet grazed Victor's neck, while the other struck Ranbir's knee.

"Ranbir!" Rosy cried and rushed towards him.

He was breathing, but he didn't have much time.

"Rosy. Listen to me..." He grabbed her hand and pressed a small metal capsule into it.

"What Victor did to you... it's all in there. The real files. If you want the truth,

look at this."

"Shut up, Ranbir, you're bleeding!" Rosy said, crying.

Ranbir continued, "Promise me one thing... If I survive, don't become like us.

Don't become a monster." After these words, Ranbir collapsed against her, desperately gasping for breath.

Victor advanced slowly, pistol in hand, his eyes shining with a kind of gleam.

"I didn't mean to do this," he murmured.

"And yet, you did it." Rosy saw Ranbir's weapon. She straightened up. She picked it up and pointed it at Victor.

Their eyes met, a mixture of love, hate, and regret.

"You taught me to kill without feeling anything." Rosy squeezed the trigger.

"Now I'm going to teach you..." But suddenly something exploded, shattering the silence.

Then, silence. The rain began to fall again, beating against the windows of the mansion. Rosy, covered in blood, collapsed between the two men she had loved and destroyed.
