Ancient Lacrima (Devil Fruits)
Ancient Lacrima, there are pools in space where dark energy is abardent, this pool coalace to give birth to the Ancient Lacrima, which they then begin to float in the infinite expanse of space, till someone finds them, making them hard to find since space is large.
No two are ever the same, similar maybe but never the same, they grant one a type of genetic mutation to a person, the examples are many and varied but the types are few.
1. The first type grants a user a body altering mutation, like the one to stretch, e.t.c.
2. The second type grants one the ability to manipulate abstract energies, like one the ability to control light, fire, ice or magma e.t.c.
3. The third is the ability transmute ones on body into something else, the ability to turn into, sand, lightning, fire, or water, e.t.c.
4. The final type and rarest of them all allows one to transform into a beast, some beast are weak and some are at the level of Void Beast.
the only bad side is that all Lacrima-bound then receive an unnatural weaknesses to Oriculcum, being in its vacinity is enough to take 50% of Lacrima-bound's strength, and it being fixed onto one's body can make it such you can't use your ability or move.
And injuries caused by Oriculcum weapons are fatal even if it's just a small cut.
