The Imperial Hierarchy of the Grakkan Empire a
Emperor: Rules the entire Empire. The absolute sovereign of billions of stars, holding ultimate authority over all lower branches of the nobility, the land is his.
Archduke: Rules a Supercluster. These are the highest-ranking royals below the Emperor, managing vast regions that encompass multiple galaxy clusters, is only given to those who have atie to Empiriyal blood.
Duke: Rules a Galaxy Cluster. They oversee thousands of galaxies and act as the primary regional powerhouses.
Marquis (Marquess): Rules a Quadrant. These nobles are responsible for the security of massive sections of a galaxy, often acting as "Marcher Lords" on the volatile borders of the Empire.
Count (Earl): Rules a Sector. This is the standard administrative rank, managing a 20-light-year cube containing 6 to 50 star systems.
Viscount: Rules a Solar (Star) System. They manage a central star and all the planets, moons, and asteroid belts orbiting it.
Baron: Rules a Planet. They are the primary landlords of habitable worlds, responsible for the population and resource output of a single globe.
Baronet: Rules a Moon or Major Space Station. A hereditary title for those managing smaller but vital celestial satellites or strategic outposts.
Knight: Rules a Settlement or Asteroid Mine. The lowest tier of nobility, often serving as the "enforcers" or local defenders of a specific territory on a planet or moon.
The Administrative Branch
Governors: These are non-hereditary or appointed officials placed by the higher nobility (typically Counts and above) to manage specific Planets or Sectors that are too vast for the noble to oversee personally. They ensure the noble's vision and the Emperor's laws are enforced on the ground.
