Nico strolled through the underground railroad tracks he saw, following the footprint on the ground. Thanks to his insight skill,he is able to discern things faster
His system had already informed him of the presence of the twin fire and ice blade but he couldn't help but worry that the entrance was totally obvious and anyone would have found it even if he didn't which made him worry that this might be a trap
After walking straight for a while,he finally got to a turn where torches were lit up on the road.after hesitating for a while,he made up his mind and turned.
Just then,he runs into a man with automail leg who seemed to be digging his way through something
"Look who we have here...a rat strolled into the Lion's den"
"I think you're mistaken about something,I have the advantage..."
"Do you?"

For the next two periods of class, Davi went around the building checking for the students present in class. Since he knew that Nico wasn't in school he didn't bother to look for him
Just as Lily's class were about to head to the magic hall,she spots Davi talking with a teacher and waited behind. Once he was done,she walks up to him to discuss what she had in mind
"Hey Davi..."
"Lily...what brings you here?"
"Have you seen Nico?"
"Oh... what do we have here"
"It's not what you think... it's just that he wasn't in the hospital this morning"
"Huh... what?"
Davi looked at Lily hoping that she was lying but her face said it all. Since the details of the first test is supposed to be announced by Davi. He can't leave the school premises right now.
Just as they were talking, the school bell rang, signalling the end of school and the time for announcement of the first test
"Lily, let's go to the gym right now, we'll find him later"
When all the students gathered, the student council vice president walked to the podium and made an announcement.
"We will now announce the details for the first test... We'll be calling Davi willdragon to give you the details..."
Davi stepped up and took a quick glance at the crowd to confirm if Nico was part of the audience
"I will now talk about the details for the first test. The first test will be a group battle which consists of two students par group. The rules are as follows;you will choose a place in the school by lot. After choosing a place, each groups are to protect the flag in the area while trying to obtain another group's flag. You can choose to stand guard by your flag or hide it in a safe place in you location."
"Another rule is that you are not allowed to move your flag outside your location... the timeline for the test is three days and the group with the highest number of flag wins an artifact from the school"
While he explained,a student raised a question
"Can groups be changed once the team mates are selected?"
"Yes...it is possible to betray your team if the need arises and there will be no penalty for it"
Davi addressed the remaining questions while checking if Nico would enter. When the meeting ended, Davi followed the students from the student council to discuss the remaining matters at had while Lily followed them from behind.
When he finished discussing with them, davi led the way to find nico and called white to help him search but for some reason,white didn't agree to it
"huh...what do you mean you can't help us find nico"
"it's just as i said...so let me be"
lily stormed out when she heard those words with an annoyed look on her face
"to think that nicodemus had such friends"
"I'll help..."
lily turned when she heard those words to confirm the presence of the person volunteering
"oh...sky,thanks but davi said we shouldn't allow you to participate"
"is it because i'm weak?"
sky's face had said all that lily needed to know on her emotions at the moment. they were a mixture of regret and disappointment at her own weakness. nevertheless, she said nothing more and stood in front of lily, in silence.
"i'm sorry sky..."
lily ran off after saying that. One of the reasons lily didn't want to involve sky was because she felt that nico wouldn't want to involve her in this
"argh...when did i start thinking like this"

davi barged into his class wearing a smile. when the teacher saw his, he turned to his direction
"class rep why weren't you in class..."
"sorry teach, i need to do something urgently,i'll make it up to you..."
"fine..."
davi signals ken to join him and ran off with him
"hey!"
"teach,you're looking beautiful today...i'l treat you to something during the lunch"
"wha... oh well"
davi stopped in front of the lab nico had enter and turned to ken, who had been following him in silence
"look,we need to find nico"
"scratch that first,where's white?"
"..."
"'guess he didn't come"
davi explained the situation to him and told him his plans.
"so your plan is to find the assassins without letting andrew diaz know"

nico stood in front of the man for a while in silence while the man smiled while working despite knowing that nico was there. he didn't seem to care about nico and focused on what he was doing
"hey..."
"oh you're still around...wait let me finish"
when he finished digging, nico realized that he had been digging through rubble that had blocked a path in the wall. when he was sure he had finished, he dropped his tool and walked in for a while before turning back out. nico must have gotten tired of waiting and lashed out
"hey!,get your act together..."
by the time nico realized, a blade was inches from removing his neck. but thanks to his intuition, he was able to dodge the attack while sacrificing a few strands of hair
"you have good intuition"
