Nico stood up and walked out of the cave while listening to what whosoever was on the phone had to say.
"I guess you must be surprised..."
"Honestly,I am...I don't understand how you got my number"
"I called you because I need something else"

For the first time since the mysterious person called he stopped moving. He couldn't wrap his head around the said coup alliance that he was sent to investigate. He waited, but no system notification popped up.
"Maybe it's just another spam call"
Despite that he couldn't shake his mind off the coup alliance that was mentioned over the phone. Nevertheless, his mind was set on the tutorial dungeon he was planning to embark on.
After getting back to the dorms late at night,he drops a note to his friends on his study table with his phone and left the keys to his locker with it.

While they talked,some humanoid fishes jumped out of the ocean bed and rushed after him. After evading an attack, the old box he obtained from the cave pops up and reveals the twin fire and ice blades and he retrieves it
"I almost lost my head trying to retrieve this thing..."

Nico runs towards the monsters and slashes them while both inflicting fire and ice damages. As he turns to kill a beast, another one ambushes him and throws a hammer to kill him but he evades beautifully and removes its head. Moving forward,he continued to attack the monsters until he got to the edge of the water where no monsters approached.
Afrr taking a deep breath,he dived nto the water but didn't find any monsters.he began swimming deeper till the water pressure was threatening to crush him . Just then a screen appears in front of him

Nico balanced in the water,while struggling to hold his own against the water pressure. Just then,a huge beast swam towards him at incredible speed while not being affected by the pressure in the midnight zone.
Using gearshift,nico was able to evade the first strike in one piece but a thought crossed his mind
What would happen if I were to get an injury,i would be destroyed by the pressure
Five hours in the fight and neither the beast nor Nico could Land a decisive hit. The beast had an edge over him since it thrives in these parts of the sea. Despite that, Nico's gearshift was giving him a tough time to adapt to. Although Nico managed to get close enough to land a strike, the fish's skin felt like a dragon's scale when he landed his first attack. Just as he taught of a hit and run tactic, the beast evolved turning into a water dragon that breathes plasma from its mouth
In a flash,a light beam moved from his mouth, and followed after Nico. Despite using gearshift, the beam followed him like a tracking device until it landed a clean hit on his gut,injuring him gravely.
Before he could grasp the situation,he was back off shore holding his injury as he laid on the ground.
"So it was set to prevent death..."
Nico laid on the cold shore,waiting for death to come over him since his injuries didn't heal. He closed his eyes and waited, until he slept off. He woke up later that night and saw that he was bandaged on his wound. Beside him was a note
'i can't have you dying just yet '
"Huh... that's weird. But first..."
Nico turns and begins his daily routine exercise he forgot when he got to their world.
"I guess I have to start building my body again if I want to survive the water pressure first."
Two weeks later and Nico dived into the water again. This time,he went with his broadsword since it evolved when he kept it in the old box.
"Time for round two...."
At the beach,a mysterious person walks towards the camp Nico had built and dropped a chest box
"Guess he already went back..."
