Andrew and the assassin walked for a while until they got to the cave he was digging earlier. Reaching there, the man stopped leaving Andrew to proceed inside alone.
Andrew turned to him one last time before entering. When he was gone from sight, the man sat on the ground and held up his hands.
"Ah...I couldn't see Nico again"
"Hey, aren't you going to go to your master?"
Nico looked up to Claire who was still kneeling beside him. Without saying anything,she puts his head on her lap.
"Oh... it's quite comfy"
"Shut up"
When Nico was completely healed,a system notification popped up

"Locked huh..."
Nico sat to his feet and turned to Claire
"Are you going to meet up with Andrew now?"
"Well yeah..."
"I'll go with you"
"Wha—"
"Let's go..."
Nico pulls her to her feet and signals her to lead the way. She looks at him for a second then touches his shoulder. The next second,they were in front of the cave where Andrew Diaz entered.
"Whoa...you could teleport"
She walks inside to meet up with her master. Nico follows behind her immediately while wearing a concerned look on his face
"Um... Claire,is something wrong"
"Nicodemus... whatever you see inside should be kept a secret"
"Oh... okay"
After walking further inside, they met up with Andrew Diaz in what seemed like a field of green grass. He was engaging in a fight with the assassins inside without a care for safety.
From Nico's angle,he could clearly see the psychopathic look on Andrew Diaz's face as he effortlessly kills the gang of assassins trying to kill him. Since he didn't notice them for the meantime, Claire adviced them to lay low until he was back to normal. Just as they were about to hide,a system notification popped up again.
"Quest:steal the twin fire and ice blade from the chest box"
I know already damn it...
"Huh?"
Nico spotted a chest box behind the rear formation of the assassins. As he observed,a notification popped up.

While Andrew Diaz was close to finishing his battle, Nico ran,full speed ahead using gearshift to grab the box. As he closed in,an assassin swung his whip to grab Nico but he slid under dodging it then grabbed the box
Immediately his hands came in contact with it,a screen appeared in front of him.
"Huh..."
Claire was trying to call out to Nico but she couldn't let you her voice. Andrew Diaz had swung his blade already but Nico didn't react and kept his hand on the box like a statue. When she finally spoke up, Nico's head and Andrew's blade were a meter away from each other
"Nico!!!"
Nico waited as the blade continued to close in. His hand was still on the box, not letting go or not opening it either.
Inches from his head, Nico dodged using gearshift and the box disappeared with him.despite dodging,,he couldn't escape a head injury as his forehead broke, spilling blood unto the floor.
"Nicodemus?!"
Andrew Diaz turned in shock when he heard Nico's name. Since he was drunken in his delusions,he didn't realize that he was about to attack Nicodemus
"Nico... "
Claire runned towards him to check his injury. While she healed him, Andrew Diaz did a shocking thing not even Claire had seen him do.
"I'm sorry..."
Andrew bowed after saying that shocking Claire
"Master..."
Andrew Diaz turned after retrieving a piece of paper that they seemed to be protecting with their lives. After retrieving it,he left without saying another word,even leaving Claire behind.
"Sorry Nico, I'll meet you later"
"Yeah...sure"
After catching up to Andrew, Claire posed a question
"Why did you do that?... Union's gonna give you an earful"
"They won't. It seems like you don't know who Nicodemus is... He's someone that the whole universe will pay to kill. But something's off about him"
"What?"
"Nevertheless, you shouldn't get too close to him. We wouldn't want a repeat of the Mana elipse
Nico laid on the ground, thinking of what to do. He didn't receive the retrieve signal from davi which meant that the first test was successfully cleared by Davi. His worries increased when he taught about what he can do now that his cap was reached which meant that he can't level up anymore .
