After lunch ended at 1:05 PM, Class 1-A gathered back into their classroom and settled into their respective seats. The alarm incident had left everyone buzzing with energy and stories to share.
Mina was telling the story of what happened during the alarm to anyone who would listen, her hands flying wildly as she described the chaos in the cafeteria.
"And then Iida literally climbed onto the emergency exit sign!" Mina said excitedly. "He was like, 'EVERYONE CALM DOWN!' and somehow, everyone actually listened! It was so funny and cool at the same time!"
"That's really nice of Iida," Momo commented, genuinely impressed by their classmate's leadership during a crisis.
Just then, a small head popped through the classroom door.
"Hello there!"
The entire class froze, then turned as one to look at the door.
"PRINCIPAL NEZU?!" multiple voices shouted in surprise.
It was extremely rare for the principal to visit individual classrooms, especially right in the middle of the day.
Nezu laughed, waving to the class. "Relax, class! I'm just here to deliver something, not to expel anyone. Today, at least."
He walked fully into the classroom, and everyone could now see what he was carrying. It was a familiar black cat in his arms, happily munching on what looked like fish.
Nezu walked directly up to Akira's desk, still holding the kitty.
"Your mother asked me to give her to you," Nezu explained with an amused smile. "She said, and I quote, 'I am mad at this little menace, so you have to take care of her for the rest of the day.'"
Akira reached out to take Nia from the principal. "Thanks, Nez.. I mean, Principal Nezu."
Nezu's smile grew slightly wider at the slip. "You're welcome, Akira. Do try to keep her out of trouble. Though I suspect that may be asking the impossible."
With that, the principal turned and left the classroom, the door sliding shut behind him.
Akira looked down at the cat now in his arms.
"You mad, Nia?" Akira asked, though he already knew the answer.
"Yeah," Nia said grumpily, her small voice carrying clear displeasure.
Without another word, she squirmed out of Akira's arms and jumped directly into Momo's lap, settling there.
Nia looked up at Momo with big, innocent eyes. "Nia will stay with you."
Akira put one hand over his heart. "My own daughter has abandoned me. Betrayed by my own flesh and blood."
"Hmph," Nia huffed, turning her head away from Akira dramatically. "Ignore him, Momo."
Momo laughed, gently petting the cat's head.
Just then, the door opened again.
Aizawa walked in, looking as tired as ever. He made his way to the front of the classroom, and the students immediately quieted down and paid attention.
"For today's hero training," Aizawa began, "we will be having a special training session. This will involve me, All Might, and one other special guest instructor."
Sero immediately raised his hand. "What kind of training are we going to do today, sensei?"
Aizawa reached into his pocket and pulled out a card, holding it up so the class could see. Written on it in bold letters was a single word: RESCUE
"Disaster relief, shipwrecks, and everything in between," Aizawa explained. "It's rescue training."
Kaminari slumped in his seat with a groan. "Mannnn, this is going to be a lot of work."
"I know, right?" Mina agreed, though she didn't sound particularly upset about it.
Kirishima turned in his seat. "No way, man! Rescue is the true essence of being a hero! It's not just about fighting villains, it's about saving people!"
"Ribbit, I hope there's training in water rescue," Tsuyu added thoughtfully. "I'd do really well in that kind of scenario."
At his desk in the back, Akira heard the word "rescue" and felt something cold settle in his chest.
For just a moment, a shadow of the past flashed through his mind. Images he'd tried very hard to bury. Sasha's laugh. Shino's smile. The way everything had gone so terribly wrong so quickly.
Before he could spiral deeper into those dark thoughts, a gentle poke on his arm brought him back to the present.
Momo was looking at him with concern, her voice quiet enough that only he could hear. "You okay?"
Akira blinked, forcing the memories back down where they belonged. He relaxed his grip on the pipe and smiled at her.
Never again, he thought firmly. I won't let that happen again.
"Yeah," he said aloud. "I'm okay."
Momo looked at him for a long moment, making sure he truly was alright. Finally, she nodded. "Okay."
At the front of the classroom, Aizawa raised his voice slightly to regain everyone's attention.
"I'm not done yet," he said flatly.
The class immediately stopped talking and turned back to face him.
"You can decide what to wear for this training," Aizawa continued. "Either your gym clothes or your hero costumes. It's your choice based on what you think would be more practical for rescue scenarios."
He started walking toward the door.
"The training will take place off campus, so we'll be taking a bus. Get ready and meet me outside in twenty minutes. Don't be late."
With that, he walked out, leaving the class buzzing with excitement and anticipation.
As students began standing up and moving toward the changing rooms, Momo leaned close to Akira and whispered in his ear.
"As the class president, you have to organize everyone on the bus. Good luck." Her voice carried a teasing smirk.
Before Akira could respond, she quickly stood up and headed toward the girls' changing room.
Nia, still in Momo's arms, opened her mouth to say something. "Bye, Da-"
But then she paused, remembering she was supposed to be mad at him. Her expression shifted back to grumpy. "Hmph!"
Akira laughed at the act. "Love you too, sweetheart."

Fifteen minutes later, everyone was gathered outside near where the bus would arrive.
Mina sidled up next to Momo, leaning in to whisper. "I know I've said this before, but Akira looks really hot in that costume."
Momo, as always, completely ignored the comment. She turned toward where Akira stood and called out, "Akira, everyone is here!"
Akira took a long puff from his pipe, then nodded. He raised his voice to address the class.
"Okay, everyone, listen up! Be good and sit properly on the bus. No standing, no yelling, no chaos." He paused, then added, "And Bakugo, don't be a little bitch."
"Say that again, you ..." Before Bakugo could finish, Momo jumped between them.
"Language, Akira," Momo said automatically.
"Yeah, yeah," Akira waved her off.
Kaminari gave him a mock salute. "Got it, boss!" and headed onto the bus.
One by one, the students filed onto the bus and found seats.
Momo and Akira sat near the front with their usual group. However, this time, Ochaco and Izuku had joined them as well.
Akira noticed Izuku kept stealing glances at his costume, specifically at the swords strapped to his back and the segmented armor. The green-head would look, then quickly look away, then look again a few seconds later.
After the fifth time, Akira sighed and decided to address it directly.
"Ask if you want to know anything."
Izuku jumped slightly, clearly startled at being called out. "What?!"
"Dude, I've noticed you eyeing my armor since we sat down," Akira explained. "So if you want to ask anything about it, go ahead. I'll answer whatever questions you have."
Izuku relaxed, though his face flushed slightly with embarrassment at being so obvious.
"I didn't get to watch your match during the last class," Izuku began. "But you must be really good at using swords since you carry them with you everywhere."
Akira nodded. "That should be pretty obvious, no?"
"Yeah..." Izuku agreed, then continued, his voice picking up speed as he got into the analysis. "But I thought using swords would be kind of against your natural fighting style? From what I saw, with your fire constructs and wings and all that mobility, I figured you'd be more of a long-range fighter. Hit from a distance and stay mobile."
Hearing this, Akira's expression shifted to genuine interest.
"Now that's a good question."
The other students in their group leaned in slightly, curious to hear more about the strongest student in their class directly from him.
"Well, you see, Midoriya," Akira began. "My quirk, as you probably know, can do two main things. Heal and burn."
Izuku nodded eagerly, pulling out a small notebook from somewhere.
"I use my healing powers to over-heal myself," Akira continued. "What it does is basically the same principle as working out. When you exercise, you tear your muscles, and they grow back stronger. I do the same thing, but much, much faster and more efficiently."
He held up one hand, flexing his fingers.
"Because of that constant over-healing and reinforcement, I can confidently say my physical strength is equivalent to a low-level strength enhancement quirk. And I can push it even further by overclocking the healing effect during combat, making myself temporarily far stronger."
"Not using that strength would be a complete waste," Izuku finished, his eyes lighting up as the logic clicked into place.
Akira smiled and pointed at him. "Bingo."
But Izuku wasn't done. "Then why swords specifically? Why not just use your enhanced strength directly, like All Might does with his punches?"
Akira stared at him blankly.
"One, I am not All Might," he said bluntly. "Nor am I a crazy, obsessive fan of him like a certain someone."
Izuku's face immediately turned bright red, and he looked down at his notebook in embarrassment. Several students nearby laughed.
"And two," Akira continued, "I'm not strong enough to just punch through everything like All Might does. He can literally change the weather with a punch. I can't do that."
He tapped one of the sword hilts over his waist.
"So instead, I use swords. I can't punch through a reinforced wall, but I can cut through it. Different approach to the same problem. Plus,"
He grinned slightly.
"...they look cool."
Izuku just stared at him for a moment, his mind clearly cataloging all this information. Then he thought, Wow, that's actually really cool. He's not just relying on raw power. He's strategically using his quirk's properties to maximize his combat effectiveness.
"I hope that answers your question," Akira said, leaning back in his seat.
Izuku immediately stood up and bowed deeply. "Yes, it did! Thank you very much for explaining!"
Akira looked slightly uncomfortable with the formal gratitude. "Dude, it's not that deep."
Momo laughed at his reaction, and Izuku smiled as he sat back down.
If I don't piss him off, Izuku thought to himself, he's actually not that scary. He's even pretty helpful.

So yeah.... I wanted to show that, while Akira wont baby or train Izuku, he will talk to him normally, cuz why not? This chapter's purpose was to show the understanding between classmates.
