He did not need to continue. The City Lord understood everything.
He asked, "What happened to Dickoff?"
"He is missing. Possibly dead."
"His family?"
"Also missing."
The City Lord frowned.
"Entire family?"
"As far as we can tell."
That was unusual. Nearly a hundred people did not disappear easily. But after hearing about four Gods, the City Lord was no longer certain what counted as unusual.
He tapped one finger against the desk.
"Dawn House?"
"Definitely involved."
"Who?"
"We confirmed Elena was there."
That made him look up immediately.
"Elena fought?"
"Yes."
"With whom?"
"We do not know."
The officer continued carefully.
"Several witnesses saw two other women fighting beside her. Both reportedly used blood-related abilities. We have descriptions, but no confirmed identities. Possibly vampires…"
"And the fourth God?"
"An older man."
"Name?"
"Unknown."
The City Lord leaned back again.
This was becoming worse.
