A woman lying on top of a building, aiming a rifle down below. She then casted a magic circle that acts as a telescopic sight. The telescopic sight locked in at a man dressed in dark blue robe. He has a silky glacier blue hair and seems to blend into the crowds. The woman insert the silencer into her rifle and:
Bang!
Although bullet was so fast and silent that no one heard it, the bullet seems to missed despite the woman having a perfect aim and it hit onto the wall. The shot was so powerful it penetrated the wall which created a loud sound which draws the attention of passerby around that area.
Everyone is now in shock, except that the man stood there unfazed. Instead, he looked at the woman at the high top of the building. The woman clicked her tongue as she ran away to avoid being notice. She jumped across buildings and turned back to see if that man is following her. As she look forward:
"Yo, "
The man is just right in front of her.
"Karvashe Rin, one of the world finest assassin, I guess you are coming for my head,"
The woman---Karvashe Rin, clicked her tongue again as she raised her rifle at the man---the Perfect Mage.
"Relax, I don't want anything to do with you now,"
Karvashe shot a smoke bomb on the ground, knowing that shooting directly at the Perfect Mage, Aether Lupen would not work. Smoke erupted as Karvashe took this chance to escape. She hopped onto another building and aimed at the Perfect Mage again who is now flying above looking around. Karvashe shoot again but the bullet missed. The bullet didn't actually missed, the course of the bullet went astray and miss the Perfect Mage which shot onto a passerby in the leg down below.
The passerby yelled in pain as the Perfect Mage descend and heal the passerby. Though it isn't healing, is a type of magic invented by Aether himself----Nullification Magic.

Aether Lupen, a prodigy since birth, he is a jack of all trades. He had invented over 10 new spells for existing magics at the age of four, won many awards at the age of ten. His magic energy level is so high at his early age that friends around Aether fainted because of it which leads Aether to control his magic energy fluctuation at the age of five. During his teen years, he decided to invent a new type of magic by his own, magic of his so powerful that no one has yet to learn it except him, that is, nullification magic.
Driven by his interest of artifact that are able to nullify magic, he turned it into a magic used by people physically and conceptually. Due to no one abled to turn it into a magic spell, Aether do faces challenge to make it into a spell. Attempts after attempts, using the formula for artifact used for nullifying magic, he managed to turned it into a spell used able to be used by mages.
But he is the only one to used it since nullification magic is very complicated that could causes nosebleed that even Aether himself faced when the first few attempts of using this magic and it is hard to cast since it take a lot of effort, precision and magic energy.
While others in the Kingdom of Hiden trained and joined the selection with many challenges to face to become an Esperia, the creation of nullification magic leads Aether to become one of Hiden most known and favored Esperia---The Perfect Mage.

"Are you alright? Here, let me help you,"
Aether went to comfort the injured man as he nullified the pain on his leg.
"I-it doesn't hurt!"
The man was shocked at the miracle performed by Aether.
"That's assuring to hear, unfortunately, I'm not a priest but I can ease your pain for now, go seek a priest for this man,"
Aether told the surrounding crowd as he left the scene to find the assassin, Karvashe Rin.
Karvashe hopped onto the next few buildings and looked down to search for the Perfect Mage.
"(Sigh), you want my head? Fine, I will give you a fight, let's find a place far from the crowd,"
Aether's voice sounded behind which Karvashe turned behind and pointed her rifle at him. She shotted Aether but the bullet miss again. The bullet hit the ground of the top of the building and causes a damaged spot.
"Those bullet will not touch me, guessing that you are an assassin, I supposed you do your research on your target,"
Karvashe broke a sweat, knowing that she does not stand a chance against the Perfect Mage from the start. But the client only mentioned to slow him down, by what that meant.
"My magic, nullification magic, I have a spell that set up a five feet radius that anything with imbued with magic energy or not enters it will be nullified. That bullet of yours, my spell nullified the trajectory of it, but you truly amazed me Karvashe Rin, usually bullets that enters my five feet radius spell it would nullify the speed of the bullet, but your skill and probably that rifle of yours, that bullet is so fast that my spell took a second to recognize it, bullet with no magic energy imbued in it, you are one of the finest assassin in the world,"
Aether looked over to the damage done by the bullet that missed.
The assassin stood there confused.
"What's wrong with this man, he is praising me in the middle of the fight? No, focus on the mission, I just need to slow him down,"
This thought came into Karvashe's mind. She was praised by many of her clients before but being praised by Hiden most favored Esperia almost make her blush a little.
"Now then,"
Suddenly everything got tense. Karvashe raised her rifle aimed at Aether as he locked eyes with her.
"Let's get things started,"
