Footsteps echoed in a silent part of the city. While all places are chaos with the beasts terrorizing and destroying the city, this particular sector of the city seems...oddly quiet. Will and Al took a stroll in this sector. Al took a cigarette and lit it up as a fresher from the sudden situation while Will is investigating the surrounding.
"Quite odd don't you think?"
Will initiate a conversation which ended the silence Al was enjoying...or mostly being creeped out too.
"I guess so, the silence really give me the shivers,"
"Noticed how there is not a single SUN Cultist around, the only one is the warlock himself who's standing at that clocktower,"
"I guess you're right, probably having the beasts around would also make the SUN Cultist have a hard time,"
"We'd pretty much walked around the whole city yet not a single encounter with a SUN Cultist yet,"
"They're probably hiding,"
"It'd be odd that they didn't attack us, well...possibly not now,"
A beast then descends from the sky and slashes his sword, destroying the ground. Will grabbed Al in time as he flew up in the air.
"Don't worry, there's no one around,"
Al seems rather calm than his usual scared persona. Will then casted shadow tendrils from the ground and it grabbed the beast and squeezed it until it pop. Purple blood splattered everywhere onto the ground as Will descended.
"You always have to kill them in this brutal way don't you? This is like the thirtieth beast we encountered and they all ended up dying that way,"
"..."
They walked again and finally returned to where they originally started---the shelter. Raye successfully took down many beasts and saved the people in the shelter. Aether also returned to the shelter dusting off the dust on his shoulder.
"Oh? Well done Raye, you took down all the beasts near the shelter,"
"Will and I also took down a few beasts while taking a stroll in the city,"
Will glared at Al with a side eye, knowing that all work is done by him when Al is the coward hiding behind him.
"Congrats Mr Will and Mr Al, I took a glance from high up and...things aren't looking good,"

"That's bad, I still couldn't contact my father, this incident might be harder to handle than I expected,"
Elredell Don Sahhara, the first prince of the Kingdom of Sahhara sighed upon hearing this news.
"Your highness, how do you plan to handle this situation,"
Aether asked, also trying to come up with. plan to stop this situation.
"Uh...I think I got a plan,"
The timid Raye in this conversation suggested his plan to the first prince and everyone in this room.
"What's your plan, Mr Raye Winston?"
"Well, our party mage Will Beuratt and the priest Al Sevis made a research while taking a stroll in the city, and that is there's no other SUN Cultist except for the warlock himself,"
"How is that gonna help us?"
"Well, SUN Cultist are known for using the forbidden magic or known as black magic, having none of them would benefit us quite a lot,"
"You have a point, but the beasts are still roaming and scavenging the city, or the whole kingdom to be accurate,"
"Well the Perfect Mage and Will Beuratt might be able to handle it and kill all of the beasts and shut down that portal connecting to the dungeon,"
"Sorry, Mr Will Beuratt?"
Aether raised his eyebrow and looked at Will.
"Well uh Will is a top tier mage said in his guild card, no, I saw it personally, the orb calls him a top tier mage,"
"Ok...this might be interesting than I thought! I mean, Mr Will did hold his ground against the Pale Jade Dragon, sorry Will for doubting you,"
"I don't mind..."
"The Pale Jade Dragon?!"
The first prince startled upon hearing this name.
"Oh yea, the Pale Jade Dragon is my familiar,"
Raye rest his right arm on his lap and a jade green lizard crawls out of it.
"Surprise to see me?"
The lizard crawled towards the Perfect Mage and bit him on his hand.
"I take that as a yes,"
Aether flings his hand and send the lizard away. Raye caught it in time.
"Aright..."
The first prince said that concerning about this group of people upon him.
"How about the warlock? What will you do about him?"
"Al and I would go and fight him,"
"Are you able to do so?"
"Well, I have the Pale Jade Dragon with me so I'd be fine, hopefully,"
"Well then, that's a plan for you,"
Aether stood up and looked outside the window.
"We gotta be quick or else this kingdom would be doomed,"
"I will leave this to you guys, and thank you, for lending a hand for this kingdom, I will discuss with my father for what should we reward you in return,"
The first prince lowered his head and thanked everyone. His body direction was in front of Aether.
"Don't thank me, thank the hero party instead, he is the one who would be saving this kingdom,"
The first prince turned his head towards Raye, Will and Al and thanked them.
Raye and the party so as Aether went out and decided to start their plan. Will and Aether flew up in the air while Raye and Al ran towards the clock tower. Raye drew out his sword and pointed at the far end clock tower and said:
"I...no...we, we will stop this calamity before you destroy this kingdom, Warlock Enceladus Lauren!"
The warlock looked down from up high and laugh hysterically.
"How fun...so much fun...this is truly intriguing! Well then, let's see what are you gonna do hero Raye Winston,"
