Today is the day I have been waiting for since I found out that I reincarnated in a Magical World.
Yeah, sorry, you should be wondering about what I am speaking about. Let me introduce myself, and you can understand what I am saying.
My name was James, an orphan on Earth. I died when I was 14, due to cancer. My life as James was a disaster. I was always in pain in that life, and when the end came, I was relieved, happy to escape from the clutches of the prolonged pain in my life.
Though I felt relief, a part of me was sad, because I couldn't enjoy the life I was meant to. I felt that was a waste of life. Taking birth and before knowing how to live a life, dying. I mean, it is a waste. Even so, the relief from the pain brought a smile to my face.
Feeling that I would be finally free, I died with a smile on my face, and I believed that would be the end, but I was wrong, and I was happy that I was wrong.
A year ago, I started to remember my life as James.
Now, I am not James. I am Tyler Riverstone.
I was born in a world where magic exists. The sad part was that my parents had been gone for years, and I lived with my aunt, Maisie and her daughter, Lyra.
I am now 16 years old, and in this world, one's first chance to awaken comes at 16.
In this world, there was more than one way to become a supernatural. One of the most popular ways was to awaken, but it was a low possibility event. Not everyone who goes through the ceremony can awaken.
In a class of fifty, if ten students awaken, that is already a miracle.
Another way to become supernatural is to cultivate and create a Seed. It can be either Mana Seed, which means they would be a Mage, or Life Seed, which would make the person a Knight.
Each path has its advantages and disadvantages.
While Awakening helps the person to level up faster at initial ranks, that didn't remain so later on, yet many prefer Awakening, as no one wants to be at the bottom for too long, even if that creates a lot of advantages later on.
Anyway, unlike other MCs, who would have to wait till the last minute they start their miraculous story, I was not like that.
I cultivated my Mana Seed three months ago. I am now considered a Mage, a supernatural in this world, yet I want to awaken a proper class, because having two is better than one.
Many would dream of creating such a miracle, but the chances are even lower.
Once I can awaken a class, the growth at the early stages would be fast, and with Mana Seed, I can move at a fast pace, even at later stages. Also, I would be stronger than one who has a single path.
So, I want to awaken a Class, even though I am already a supernatural.

I turned around to see my classmates speaking animatedly, dreaming of the fame and money they could earn after the awakening.
As I said, everyone gets a chance to awaken, but not everyone can.
Of course, failing once doesn't mean that it is the end. They can try twice more, once at 17 and once more at 18. If by then, they are not supernatural, the chances of becoming one would be almost zero.
They have yet to feel the despair. Only when they go to the next year or the last year would they feel the despair of not awakening by then. Even so, I can feel the envious eyes on me.
As of now, I am the only one who has awakened their seed. So many are envious, jealous of my good luck, but that didn't diminish their pride, for everyone believed they could awaken a class and surpass me in a short time.
I can see the arrogance in their eyes.
Of course, this was only in the eyes of someone with supernatural parents, while I can see hope in others' eyes. Most don't have any supernatural connection, and they desperately want to pull themselves from the set known as Common People and rise in fame.
With fifty excited students present here, the class was the opposite of quiet, but not in a bad way.
Suddenly, the class became silent. No one was speaking, and every head was looking forward. I looked at the door and saw a woman walking straight towards the platform.
That's our class teacher, Miss Alyra Raven.
True to her name, there was a raven stitched to her clothes.
Why? I have no idea.
Anyway, she is the best of all teachers, but also the strictest one. Everyone here fears her.
Miss Raven took her position on the platform, and, unlike on regular days, when she would place a book related to our teaching, she set a White Crystal Ball on the table.
Normally, it was where the teachers stand to teach classes, but today it seems to be for something else: to make or break the students in this class.
Sorry, I am being dramatic; I can't help it sometimes.
The White Crystal Ball is what helps us awaken our Class/Profession.
Miss Raven, while I was being dramatic, spoke, "Class, you know what today's agenda is, and I won't waste any time of yours. Let's start the ceremony".
"First, Tyler Riverstone, come to the platform", she called.
Ah, that's me. I am nervous but I need to put a brave face. I am already a supernatural. So, there was nothing to get worried about. I am cultivating slowly, but I would still be better and powerful than most, no, almost all of the students present here.
Even though I am not afraid, I still want to be one of the strongest, which means I need to awaken my Class, and I hope that I can.
