Chapter 1: The Magicless Dreamer of Ongashima

The world was divided into four great realms: The Kingdom of Heart, the Kingdom of Sound, the Kingdom of Flower, and the Kingdom of Fire. In these lands, magic was everything. Your status, your future, and your worth were all determined by the mana flowing through your veins.

In the small, quiet village of Ongashima, a young boy named Volt Alexander sat on a wooden fence, stuffing his face with a large piece of bread. With messy brown hair and warm honey-colored eyes, he looked like any ordinary teenager, except for one thing: he possessed absolutely zero magic. In a world of wonders, Volt was a "lblank page.

"Volt! Are you eating again? You're going to be late for the Academy entrance ceremony!

Volt looked up to see a stunning young woman walking toward him. It was Ino Alexander, his older sister. Unlike Volt, Ino was a prodigy. Her long, golden-blonde hair shimmered like sunlight, and her honey eyes—the same shade as Volt's—were filled with intelligence and a hint of worry. She was the top student at the Magic Academy, a genius who could command the elements with a single thought.

I'm coming, Ino-nee! A king can't fight on an empty stomach," Volt said with a goofy grin, wiping crumbs from his chin.

Ino sighed, crossing her arms. A king? Volt, you don't even have enough mana to light a candle. You're lazy, clumsy, and all you think about is food. People in the village are already whispering.

"Let them whisper, Volt muttered, his eyes momentarily losing their spark. "I'm going to be the Wizard King. Just you watch.

Ino's expression softened. She stepped forward and ruffled his hair. She knew how hard it was for him, being the only magicless child of the Alexander family. While she was praised, he was mocked. Yet, she was the only one who didn't give up on him.

As they approached the Academy, the atmosphere changed. The air felt heavy with power. Standing at the gates was a figure that made Volt's blood boil: Madara Novachrono.

Madara was the definition of perfection. With jet-black hair and cold, calculating eyes, he stood there with an aura of absolute confidence. He was the strongest candidate in their year, a genius whose power rivaled even the teachers.

"The failure has arrived," Madara said without even looking at Volt. His voice was like ice.

Volt clenched his fists. He hated Madara. He hated how every girl in the Academy looked at him with admiration. He hated how easily magic came to him. But most of all, he hated how Madara looked at him—as if he were nothing but dust on the road.

Ino stepped in front of Volt, her eyes narrowing at Madara. "Watch your tongue, Madara. My brother has more heart than you'll ever have.

Madara finally looked up, his gaze meeting Ino's. He respected Ino's power, but he had nothing but contempt for Volt. "Heart doesn't win wars, Ino. Magic does. And your brother... is a mistake of nature.

Volt stood there, silent, his heart pounding against his chest. Today was the day. The day of the Great Awakening. He had no magic, no talent, and no respect. But as he looked at the grand towers of the Academy, a strange feeling began to stir deep within his soul.

Little did the four kingdoms know, the fool of Ongashima was about to change the world forever
