"Shall we go inside?" I inquired as I tried to listen to what they were saying.
"Let us wait until they are done then we shall pull the Marquis aside," Deborah suggested and I nodded in agreement.
It is better to get on with this once and for all.
As for Ruby, Eric will go and bring her back since he lost her in the first place. Besides, he needs to show her his manly self in order to get her attracted to him.
This will get him more credit than Jerome.
I moved away from the door and Deborah placed her ear to listen just in time for the door to be pulled open and she nearly fell inside.
I quickly turned away to hide my smile because I knew they were already at the door but didn't give her a heads-up.
"Oh, ehm…Marquis Johnson, it is so good…good to have you here," she nervously said and looked at me to help her before looking back at the Marquis.
His eyes lit up the moment he saw her and he sweetly said, "You amaze me, Queen Deborah."
