Videl stomped hard on the ground to steady herself.
In the next instant, Android 18 vanished and reappeared behind her.
"Videl!" Lagss shouted.

Android 18's kick struck Videl's back, sending her flying out of the ring.
However, since Videl knew Flight, she stopped herself mid-air instead of falling.
The audience erupted in shock.
"She can fly!"
Videl exhaled in relief and quickly flew back onto the stage.
Android 18 smirked and charged again at lightning speed.
Just as Videl prepared to block, Android 18 disappeared once more and reappeared behind her.

A punch sent her cleanly out of the ring.
"Videl is out! Android 18 wins!" the referee announced.
Lagss rushed over to help her up.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. But she's very strong. Be careful when you fight her."
Lagss nodded seriously.
The remaining quarterfinal matches were uneventful. Lagss advanced easily to the final round.
Soon, it was time for the championship match.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached the grand final of the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament! Please welcome Lagss and Android 18!"
Both jumped onto the stage.
The referee added excitedly, "This year's finalists are both female contestants!"
Android 18 narrowed her eyes. "Is there a problem with that?"
"N-no, of course not! It's just rare," the referee stammered.
"Then hurry up and start."
"Yes!"
"I now declare the final match officially begin!" The referee quickly jumped off the stage.
Android 18 took a fighting stance. Lagss did the same.
In the next moment, both dashed forward.

Their fists and kicks collided rapidly.
Gohan had forbidden Lagss from using special abilities or energy blasts, so she relied purely on hand-to-hand combat.

Lagss landed a punch that forced Android 18 back.
Android 18 rushed in again, but Lagss flickered behind her.
Android 18 barely turned in time before a punch struck her chin.
She stumbled.
Lagss pressed the advantage, driving Android 18 toward the edge of the ring.
Android 18 felt the boundary behind her and realized the danger.
She had underestimated Lagss's strength. The difference was far greater than she had expected.
Lagss charged again.
Android 18 pushed off the ground and leapt skyward.
Lagss immediately followed.
Boom! Boom! Boom!!
They clashed in mid-air, moving so fast that they appeared as streaks of light.
Bang!!
Lagss's flying kick connected cleanly, sending Android 18 flying out of the ring.
"Android 18 is out! Lagss wins!"
The crowd roared.
Android 18 dusted herself off and glanced toward Gohan in the stands. She understood that Lagss's strength was the result of his training.
The referee raised Lagss's hand.
"I now announce that the champion of the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament is Lagss! Do you have anything to say?"
Lagss took the microphone.
"Yes. Where is the ten million zeni prize money?"
The audience burst into laughter.
"You can collect it from the staff tomorrow," the referee replied awkwardly.
Lagss nodded. "Then I can't treat my Master to a meal today."
"Your Master? May I ask who that is?"
"My Master is Gohan."
The referee froze.
"Gohan? You mean the former Junior Division champion?"
Lagss nodded proudly.
In the stands, Gohan simply smiled calmly as the crowd erupted in whispers once again.
