After Whis left, Gohan immediately began attempting what he had been told. He slowly calmed his heart and focused on the energy within his body.
"Ha!"
With a shout, he first transformed into Super Saiyan 4.
"Master!"
Lagss froze, unsure what Gohan was trying to do.
"This won't work."
Gohan returned to his base form. He raised the energy inside his body again and tried converting it into divine power.
"Ha!"
Moments later, his fists clenched tightly.
His hair turned crimson, his body became leaner, and a blazing aura like sunlight surrounded him. His eyes grew sharper, and his entire presence changed.
This was Super Saiyan God.
In Universe 7, Whis was on his way back to the God of Destruction's Realm when he suddenly sensed the aura of a Super Saiyan God.
He stopped mid-flight and raised his staff, peering toward Earth through the crystal ball at its tip.
He quickly saw Gohan standing there in his Super Saiyan God form.
"I wonder how strong this Gohan will become by the time Lord Beerus awakens. If he can rival Lord Beerus, things may become quite interesting."
With that thought, Whis lowered his staff and continued on his journey.
Back on Earth, Lagss looked at Gohan in awe.
"Master, you've mastered another transformation."
Gohan nodded slightly.
"What form is that? I couldn't sense your energy at all."
"It's Super Saiyan God."
"Super Saiyan God?"
"It's the divine path of the Super Saiyan. Mortals cannot sense God Ki, so you felt nothing."
"I see. Is it stronger than Super Saiyan 4?"
"It's not necessarily stronger. It's simply a different path."
"I still prefer Super Saiyan 4, but I like all your forms, Master."
Gohan smiled faintly and returned to his base form.
The next morning.
Because of Gohan's clone's incredible performance in P.E. class, Sharpner had completely given up on pursuing Videl.
However, Erasa had not given up on Gohan. During a break, she pulled Videl aside.
"Videl, I need to ask you something important."
"Important?"
"Do you like Gohan?"
"G-Gohan?" Videl's face immediately turned red.
"So you do?"
"No, I don't!" she protested quickly.
"Great. Then I can pursue him without worrying."
"Pursue him?" Videl froze. If Erasa started dating Gohan, their relationship would become incredibly awkward.
"He's smart, strong, handsome, and from a good family. He's basically every girl's dream," Erasa said dreamily.
"He has plenty of flaws," Videl blurted out.
"Flaws?" Erasa narrowed her eyes. "You know him that well?"
"I-I don't!" Videl stammered.
"Videl, you like him, don't you?"
"I don't!"
"Then starting today, I'm going after him."
Just then, the class bell rang.
Morning passed quickly.
Throughout the day, Videl kept glancing at Erasa, worried she might confess at any moment.
In the afternoon, Erasa chatted cheerfully with Gohan's clone but still did nothing obvious.
The clone noticed Videl's constant glances and chuckled inwardly.
When school ended, as the clone packed up, Erasa quietly slipped a letter into his hand and ran off.
"Erasa!" Videl gripped her pen tightly.
Gohan's clone glanced at her, calmly put the letter into his bag, and left the classroom.
At home, he opened the envelope.
It was a love letter, expressing Erasa's feelings for him.
After reading it, the clone used Instant Transmission to return to Mount Paozu and handed the letter to Gohan.
Gohan reabsorbed the clone and immediately understood everything.
"Master, what's that?" Lagss asked curiously.
"Nothing important."
Gohan stored the letter inside the system's storage space.
"Master, don't store trash in there!"
"Trash? It's a love letter. A priceless memento of my youth."
"So at a hundred years old, you're already old?"
Gohan coughed lightly. "Ordinary humans age, but your master won't stop at a hundred. Or are you saying I only have a century of youth?"
"I meant your youth is long!"
"Good answer. When I become the strongest in the universe, I'll grant you the title of second strongest."
"Pui! I'm the strongest!"
Gohan ignored the comment.
"Lagss, it's getting late. I should head home."
"Alright."
"Master, what was written in that letter?"
"Nothing important."
With a flash of Instant Transmission, Gohan disappeared.
