"No, I didn't see anything at all!"
"Sharpner, I really saw the shot put!"
Seeing that the student didn't seem to be lying, Sharpner looked up at the sky again.
He still saw nothing.
"Gohan, I don't know where your shot put went. I think you should throw another one."
Gohan's clone smiled calmly and said, "No need. It will fall back down in a moment."
"In a moment? You mean it's still in the sky?"
"Yes."
Sharpner crossed his arms. "Fine. I'll wait and see."
After a short while, a blazing fireball descended from the sky. It was the same shot put Gohan had thrown earlier.
"A fireball!"
Sharpner stared in shock.
The shot put fell like a meteor and crashed heavily onto the playground grass.
Boom!
"How far?" Gohan asked calmly.
Sharpner hurried over to measure it.
"Thirty meters!"
Just then, Mr. Lu ran over excitedly.
"Gohan, can I take you as my master?"
"Mr. Lu!"
The surrounding students were stunned. A P.E. teacher was actually asking a student to be his master.
Gohan smiled politely and said, "Mr. Lu, you're my teacher. How could I be your master? But if you'd like, I can give you some guidance."
"That's good enough!" Mr. Lu nodded immediately.
"Can you guide me too?" a sporty male student asked eagerly.
"Sure," Gohan replied.
"Then can you guide me as well?" a girl asked shyly.
She wasn't truly interested in martial arts. She just wanted an excuse to get closer to him.
Gohan hesitated slightly. Teaching one or two people was manageable, but too many would take up too much of his time.
At that moment, Videl stepped forward and said firmly, "Gohan already promised to teach me martial arts, so he doesn't have time to teach anyone else."
"Oh… I see."
The girl reluctantly backed off.
"Videl…"
Sharpner looked heartbroken. If he still couldn't see that their relationship was special, he was hopeless.
Erasa glanced between them thoughtfully. If Videl really liked Gohan, then she might have to give up.
Mount Paozu, Gravity Chamber.
Gohan's real body was training inside the Gravity Chamber under three hundred times Earth's gravity. Suddenly, the door opened.
A tall figure with blue-green skin, long white hair, purple eyes, and a light blue halo around his neck stood at the entrance.
It was Whis.
Gohan immediately stood up.
"I apologize for interrupting your training. My name is Whis, attendant to Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction."
"Whis…"
"May I come in?"
"Of course."
Whis stepped inside the Gravity Chamber and walked as if there were no gravity at all. Lagss looked visibly shocked.
Whis approached Gohan and smiled. "You are Gohan, correct?"
"Yes."
"I came today to ask you about Destruction Energy."
"Destruction Energy?"
"Yes. It is a technique exclusive to a God of Destruction. Where did you learn it?"
Gohan replied calmly, "An old man taught me in a dream."
"An old man in a dream?" Whis asked skeptically. "What did he look like?"
"He had white hair and a white beard, and he wore a blue robe covered in stars."
"Stars…" Whis stroked his chin thoughtfully.
After a moment, he asked, "Gohan, are you willing to become a God of Destruction?"
"What exactly is a God of Destruction?"
"A deity responsible for destroying planets. Their status is equal to that of the Supreme Kai."
"Equal?"
"Yes, though Supreme Kais rarely dare to provoke a God of Destruction."
"Then Beerus is the current God of Destruction?"
"Correct."
"Since you already have one, why ask me?"
"I am looking for a successor. If you are willing, you could become the next God of Destruction."
"When would that happen?"
"That depends on when Lord Beerus chooses to step down. It could be years, decades, or even tens of thousands of years."
Gohan was speechless.
"In that case, wouldn't it make more sense to ask me when he's ready to retire?"
Whis smiled faintly. "My main purpose today was to investigate your Destruction Energy. However, if you are interested, I could guide your training once Lord Beerus awakens."
"Awakens?"
"Yes. He is currently in a deep sleep and will awaken in about five years."
"I see. Then Whis, do you know how to transform ordinary ki into God Ki?"
"Transform it into God Ki?"
"Yes."
"It is quite simple. First, elevate the energy within your body, then allow it to sublimate into the divine realm."
"Sublimate?"
"Unlike a Super Saiyan transformation, achieving God Ki requires a calm heart. Only with complete inner peace can your energy ascend to the level of a god."
"I understand."
Whis looked at him again. "So, are you willing to become the next God of Destruction?"
Gohan smiled slightly. "Let's talk about it when Beerus is ready to step down."
"Very well," Whis turned and walked toward the exit.
Before leaving, he glanced at Lagss curiously. He had seen countless races across the universe, but this one was unfamiliar.
Still, the universe was vast. New races could emerge at any time.
With that thought, Whis quietly departed.
