Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 — When Strategy Becomes a Natural Disaster

For fifteen days, Aren barely spoke.

No speeches.No explanations.No dramatic lines.

He lived inside the old bear guild 📚🐻Reading ancient quest logs.Studying monster instincts.Mapping routes.Timing patrol cycles.Calculating rage triggers, sleep intervals, and cooldown windows.

Page after page.Scroll after scroll.Like war itself was homework.

Meanwhile—

Ben trained until the ground cracked beneath his feet 💪💥.King practiced until his fingers bled 🗡️.Even the tiny blue horse ran drills, hauling weights twice its size 🐎🔥.

By Day Sixteen, the impossible happened.

All 49 quests were cleared in one brutal rush.

The ancient bear behind the desk watched in silence, quill trembling.

He had guarded this guild for centuries.

And had never seen monsters like these.

Then—

Aren closed the final book 📕.

The sound echoed like a verdict.

He stood.

Turned to his team.

And said only three words:

"I have a plan."

Ben straightened instantly.King tightened his grip. The horse neighed like a battle horn.

Aren placed three items on the table:

🗺️ A detailed island map💙 A bottle of strange blue dust🐉 A single scale from a sleeping dragon

The ancient bear swallowed hard.

Something ancient in his bones screamed danger.

Aren spoke calmly.Too calmly.

Like he was explaining directions to a bakery 🍞.

Step One ☝️

"We feed the dragon for ten days."

Ben frowned.

"…Feed it?"

Aren nodded.

"The food contains a sedative."

King raised an eyebrow.

"How strong?"

"So strong," Aren replied,"that falling off a cliff won't wake him."

☕The ancient bear choked on his tea.

Step Two ✌️

"We coat his scales with this irritant."

King blinked.

"…That sounds suicidal."

"It burns," Aren said,"but gently."

Ben tilted his head.

"Why gently?"

"So he runs," Aren replied.

"…To the lake."

The room froze ❄️.

Step Three 🖐️

"When the dragon reaches the lake…"

Aren paused.

"…he meets the Ice Golem."

💥

Ben dropped his hammer.King went pale. The horse squeaked in pure shock.

Aren finished calmly:

"Fire and Ice are ancestral enemies."

"They will fight."

The ancient bear slammed his paw on the desk 🐾💢.

"THAT IS INSANE!"

Aren nodded once.

"Yes."

🌍 The Academy Explodes

News spread in minutes.

📢 Upperclassmen flooded the halls📢 Teachers abandoned meetings📢 Viewing screens filled instantly📢 Even the Headmistress stopped breathing for a second

"He's unleashing a dragon on an Ice Golem!?""He's weaponizing NATURE ITSELF!?""This isn't strategy—this is apocalypse planning!""What kind of BRAIN does this kid have!?"

Some teachers cheered:

"This is brilliance!""He reads more than all our scholars combined!""The Pillar chose correctly!"

Others panicked:

"He'll destroy the continent!""Prepare evacuation teams!""This student must be STOPPED!"

👑 Team Rose Watches

Silence.

Prince Rose stared at the screen.

"…We can't compete with this."

The elf princess shook her head slowly.

"He's not a student."

"…He's a natural disaster."

🔥 Decision Time

Back inside the guild—

King exhaled slowly.

"Aren… this plan is too dangerous."

Aren looked him straight in the eyes 👁️.

"If the dragon fights us directly," he said,"you all die."

No hesitation.No exaggeration.

Ben nodded slowly.

"So…"

"…we make two monsters kill each other."

Aren nodded.

"Correct."

The horse neighed in fierce agreement 🐎⚔️.

King sighed deeply.

"…Alright."

Ben laughed loudly.

"If Aren says this is the safest plan—then this is the SAFEST impossible plan!"

Aren picked up the dragon scale.

And crushed it in his bare hand 💥🐉.

Dust scattered across the table.

The ancient bear whispered, voice trembling:

"May the spirits protect you, children…"

Aren turned toward the door.

"Prepare."

"Tomorrow…"

"…we start feeding the dragon."

🚪

He walked out.

Behind him, the guild stood frozen—caught between awe and terror.

Across the Academy, one sentence spread like wildfire:

🗣️ "He's not trying to win the quest."🗣️ "He's rewriting its entire history."

And far away—

Something ancientSomething fierySomething sleeping

🐉 stirred.
