King's jaw dropped.Ben rubbed his eyes twice.The horse let out a proud "Ho-ho-ho!" 🐎
Aren calmly loaded the cannons.
"Ben. King. Horse."He looked down at the guild."Fire."
They did.
BA–BOOM!!BA–BOOM!!BA–BOOM!! 💣💣💣
The mountain shook.
Explosions tore through the Lizard Guild's outer structures.Lizards poured out screaming, tails flailing, eyes wide with terror.
The audience went insane.
"They're not even CLOSE to the guild!""This is long-range warfare!""WHO TAUGHT THEM THIS!?""I LOVE TEAM FATHER!!"
King whistled low."This is what happens when you hurt the wrong people."
Aren nodded.
"Did you see the claw marks on Mother Bear's back?"
Silence.
Ben clenched his fists.King lowered his head.The horse bowed slightly.
Aren's voice hardened like forged steel.
"They tried to kill her.Again and again.For helping challengers survive."
He pointed at the cannons.
"Let them learn what happens…when someone attacks from behind."
🕒 The Week-Long Siege
They didn't rush in.They didn't shout threats.
They waited.
And every time the Lizard Guild tried to:

At dawn, the Lizard Guild collapsed.
They crawled out.
Hands raised.Eyes hollow.Voices broken.

Aren calmly closed the cannon lids.
Ben crossed his arms.King nodded.The horse struck a proud pose. 🐎✨
The Academy erupted like fireworks 🎆.
"TEAM FATHER IS INSANE!""I LOVE THEM!!""POOR LIZARDS—BUT THEY DESERVED IT!""WHO ATTACKS A MOTHER BEAR!?""THEY DID. AND THEY LOST."
Even the Headmistress whispered:
"…Monsters. Brilliant monsters."
Aren turned away.
"No one hurts Mother Bear."
🩸 Judgment
They descended the cliff.
The Lizard Guild Master—skinny, shaking, half-mad—crawled forward and pressed his head into the dirt.
"W–We admit it! We harmed Mother Bear! Punish us as you wish!"
Aren looked down.
"Stand."
The lizard tried.Failed.
Ben lifted him easily.
Aren spoke calmly:
"You attacked the one who feeds the lost.You hunted the one who helps challengers survive.You betrayed kindness."
The Guild Master collapsed again.
"I'M SORRY! PLEASE! MERCY!!"
Aren shook his head.
"I don't give mercy."
Every lizard froze.
Aren pointed behind him.
"But she does."
Mother Bear stepped forward.
Her eyes were soft.Her voice warm.
"I forgive you."
The lizards broke down.
Some cried 😭.Some sobbed loudly.One fainted face-first into the dirt.
Aren turned away.
Mother Bear left.
Aren spoke quietly, cold as night:
"Team… begin execution."
Justice was done.
Mercy did not live in Aren's blood.Balance was restored.
