Chapter 13 - Ch 13: Ochaco Uraraka

More than a week ago, when Herman received his system rewards, he was so caught up in the moment that he completely forgot to upgrade his Hypnosis skill or increase his stats.

In addition, his mother's sudden entrance into the room attracted his attention, after which he was quickly swept up in conversation with his sister and various other tasks.

And it wasn't until a few days later, while he was 'convincing' his mother by fucking her pussy nonstop to agree to come to Japan with him, that he finally remembered to upgrade.

By then, he had accumulated 6,920 System Points, and the first thing he did was to upgrade his Hypnosis skill to Level 10.

The cost progression was 50 + 100 + 150 + 200 + 300 + 400 + 500 + 600 + 700, totaling 3,000 System Points.

Out of the remaining 3,920 points after this upgrade, he decided to keep 920 points as emergency reserves and used the remaining 3,000 points to boost his stats evenly.

With one stat point costing 50 System Points, he managed to increase both his Physique and Spirit by 30 points each.

———————

✧ Physique: 17 → 47

✧ Spirit: 28 → 58

✧ Skills: Hypnosis (Level 1 → 10)

✧ System Points: 920

————————

At Level 10, his skill Hypnosis underwent a significant change.

Not only could he give suggestions he once couldn't, but also the strength of his suggestions had increased dramatically, allowing him to directly influence emotions rather than slowly guiding them to the desired outcome.

Of course, the core restrictions, such as the target's Spirit needing to be considerably lower than his own and the requirement for eye contact, remained, but to compensate for that, he unlocked a new feature.

Mesmerizing Eyes.

With it, he could briefly mesmerize anyone with a look and force those with a lower Spirit stat than his into a short trance.

During the trance state, they wouldn't feel anything, nor would they remember the experience afterward.

Overall, the changes weren't groundbreaking, but they were enough to satisfy him.

'Now I just need to test my Hypnosis on a new target.'

Without a doubt, Herman already had someone in mind, and he was only a short distance away from her location.

"Herman."

At that moment, Olivia's voice snapped him back to reality, and he turned toward her.

"What is it, Mom?"

"Say, I understand buying a house and even the warehouse, considering you'll need space for training and storing equipment. But what's the point of buying a café? Are you planning to use it as a backup in case your hero career doesn't work out? Hahaha!"

Olivia asked, pointing at the modest but charming cafe building in front of her, with a sign above in Japanese that read, "The Little Bean."

Her tone shifted from curious to genuinely puzzled, but in the end, she was laughing at her own joke.

In fact, she was curious about it since the day Herman proposed to buy this property, but because then she was either being fucked or was dealing with the aftermath of being fucked, she had no time to ask about it.

Hearing her sudden question and seeing her teasing him, Herman just sighed and shook his head.

"Mom! I bought this cafe for you, not me! Back at home, you had your neighborhood aunts and your friends to gossip with and annoy. But here you're all alone. At least with this, you have something to spend your time on while I am at U.A."

Lying with a straight face was almost instinct to him at this point, so he lied smoothly in a sincere voice, like a dutiful son exasperated by his mother's antics, leaving Olivia stunned.

Her maternal instincts felt that there was definitely something wrong in his words, but looking at the building, then back at her son's 'concerned' face, she couldn't help but melt.

"Oh my dear son... if you say so..." She pretended to wipe a fake tear from her eye but then suddenly remembered what he said.

"... Wait! You say I annoy others? Am I annoying now?!"

"Pff—Hahaha, so cute."

Looking at her pretending to be angry just made him burst out in laughter, and he wrapped his hands around her shoulders and comforted her.

"Come on, Mom, I was just joking, but the cafe looks good though, right?"

"... Well, it does."

She nodded, and Herman removed his hands and gestured grandly.

"After all, it's my choice."

'For the perfect hunting ground.'

Of course, Herman only thought about the latter one evilly in his heart and didn't speak aloud. On the outside, he was in the same happy excitement, offering his arm to his mother and asking.

"Shall we?"

"Alright, let's go check out my new business!"

Olivia smiled, took his arm, and pushed the door open.

The cafe's interior was exactly like that of the cafe Antieku from Tokyo Ghoul: warm lighting, wooden furniture, and the smell of roasted beans.

Other than Olivia and Herman, there were only four people inside. An elderly customer sitting in the corner reading a newspaper, a short, kind-looking old man wiping a glass behind the counter.

Standing next to the old man was the previous owner of the cafe, a middle-aged woman in her late forties with a gentle smile.

And at last, there she was.

A short girl with a slender yet curvy figure, fair skin, and auburn hair with eyes that match in color.

She had pink blush marks on her cheeks, her eyes were large and round with thick upper lashes, and she was wearing a classic maid outfit with a black dress, white apron, and a frilly headband.

The outfit was conservative enough for public service but tight enough in the right places to make Herman realize the magnitude of the assets hidden underneath.

'Ah, my future Antigravity Hero: Uravity!'

Indeed, she was none other than Ochaco Uraraka, who was working here to help out her parents financially and save some money before U.A.

Wiping down a table with her back turned to them, she was giving Herman a perfect view of her curvy hips as she bent over slightly.

'God damn. That ass is illegal in twelve states. Looks like it wasn't a mistake that her hero costume was almost skin tight in the anime. She does have some fate with tight clothes... Hehe. I have to install a camera in the staff changing room.'

Chuckling and making devious plans inwardly, Herman forced his expression on the outside to remain neutral, almost bored.

Ding-ling~

A small bell chimed when they opened the door and entered.

Realizing that someone had come in, Ochaco turned around, and her eyes widened slightly as she saw two foreigners enter.

She quickly put on her brightest, most professional smile and hurried over, followed by the owner.

"Irasshaimase! Welcome!"

Ochaco bowed perfectly.

"Ah, you must be the new owners!"

The older woman behind her stepped forward, wiping her hands on her apron.

"I'm Tsukimi Sato. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

Olivia, who had spent the last week cramming Japanese phrases, stepped forward with a confident smile. "Konnichiwa! I am Olivia. This is my son, Herman. We are very happy to be here."

Despite her accent, she was surprisingly fluent in Japanese.

"Oh, wonderful!" Mrs. Sato clapped her hands together and invited them in. "Please, please, come in and sit down. Let's have something to drink while we talk and go over the paperwork."

All three of them sat down in a large booth near the window.

Undoubtedly, Herman sat opposite his mother, giving him a direct line of sight to the counter where Ochaco was preparing drinks.

"So, first of all, here are the keys, the supplier contracts, and the staff roster. There's really only one other part-timer besides Ochaco here, but she's out today due to some work."

Mrs. Sato began by sliding a folder across the table.

While Olivia read the papers, Ochaco approached the table, carrying a tray with a pot of tea and three cups, and placed everything down without spilling a drop.

"Here is the tea."

Although she was usually cheerful and bubbly, seeing two foreign strangers who would be her future bosses, Ochaco was still a bit reserved and spoke softly, her eyes darting between Olivia and Herman.

Opposite to her, when Olivia saw Ochaco, she became excited.

"Arigato gozaimasu! You are very... genki (lively)."

"Hahaha~"

Ochaco giggled and shyly scratched her head, but also relaxed inwardly at the same time.

'Thank god,I was so worried I'd lose this job because of the change in ownership. Although this new lady is a foreigner, at least she seems nice. And she speaks Japanese...'

As for her son? Ochaco's gaze secretly shifted to Herman.

Blond hair like gold, piercing blue eyes, and the kind of features you usually only saw in movies. He wasn't bulky like a bodybuilder, but he had an undeniable presence and looked like some prince from fantasy.

'Okay,' Ochaco admitted to herself. 'He's handsome. Like, really handsome. But he's either probably the silent type, or one of those arrogant types considering he hasn't spoken at work and is simply watching from the sideline.'

But then, as if sensing her appraisal, Herman turned his head towards her and his blue eyes locked onto hers.

For a second, Ochaco lost her mind as he looked into her eyes, and she was so mesmerized she nearly dropped the sugar bowl.

'Ah, such nice big, brown, innocent eyes. Eyes that would look great rolling back in her head when I fuck her into consciousness.'

Looking at the stunned Ochaco, Herman mused internally, then turned off the Mesmerizing Eyes, maintaining eye contact for a second longer before offering a polite, charming nod to Ochaco who came to her senses.

Realizing how she had become mesmerized just now, Ochaco became blushed, and was about to leave when Mrs. Sato, oblivious to the silent exchange that had just happened, laughed warmly and called her.

"Oh, Ochaco! Don't be shy. Meet your new boss. This is Olivia-san, and this is her son, Herman-kun. They are the new owners."

Ochaco immediately straightened up and bowed deeply. "It is a pleasure to meet you! I hope to continue working hard here!"

Seeing the young girl bow so earnestly made Olivia's heart ache, and her maternal instincts kicked in instantly.

"Ara, ara, please stand up, dear. No need for such formality. Mrs. Sato has told me so much about you."

"She has?" Ochaco asked, peeking up.

"Yes!" Mrs. Sato added from the side. "I told Olivia-san that you are the hardest working girl I know. You treat this place like it's your own. Honestly, I am reluctant to leave you and sell this place."

Ochaco's red face turned a shade darker from embarrassment and joy.

"Mrs. Sato..."

At that moment, Olivia reached out and patted Ochaco's hand.

"Well, you are in good hands now. Oh, and I expect you to take care of my son here when he visits. He can be quite... troublesome."

"I will! I will do my best!" Ochaco nodded enthusiastically.

"Mom!"

Herman deadpanned and rolled his eyes at Olivia on the outside, but in reality, he was watching the interaction with a meaningful smile from the inside.

'Perfect. The mother hen has accepted the little chick, both ready for my big dick! Khe Khe Khe!'
