Chapter 15 - Ch 15: Meeting and Hypnotizing My New Step-Son Izuku Midoriya

Without wasting any time, Herman informed his half-asleep mother that he was heading out and set off for his destination: Dagobah Municipal Beach Park.

It was the very same beach where Izuku had trained to prepare for the Quirk One For All in the anime.

Since Herman had done his research beforehand, he purposefully purchased an expensive house close to the beach, but not closer than Izuku's place. And it took him a little over fifteen minutes of light jogging to get there.

As soon as he arrived, Herman circled around the heaps of trash on the beach to reach the pier, which had a gazebo at the end.

Once there, he finally saw a somewhat skinny, round-faced boy with dark-green hair and eyes, carrying one junk part of some machinery after another, clearly struggling under their weight.

Scanning around, there was no sign of All Might, and it made sense. After all, no matter how important Izuku was, the Symbol of Peace couldn't babysit him 24/7 and probably only appeared once a week to check progress.

'It's good that All Might's not here. Now, I can easily manipulate... I mean, teach my future step-son some life lessons.'

Chuckling inwardly with a wicked glint in his eyes, Herman watched Izuku for a few more seconds.

Then, he pretended to have a thoughtful look of realization on his face, and he also joined Izuku and started to lift the waste.

'Even if there's no audience, a capable actor must not break his character and play his role perfectly.'

That was a motto he had always adhered to.

He didn't deliberately talk to Izuku at first and just had a friendly smile on his face while he continued to lift one piece of trash after another until eventually, he circled around the trash and ended up face-to-face with Izuku, who was startled to see someone else there, doing the same thing.

Izuku froze with a large fridge door in his hands. His eyes widened, and he let out a high-pitched noise.

"H-hey! Uh, hello!"

"Yo, morning," Herman replied smoothly while giving Izuku a perfect, charismatic smile. "

"G-good morning! I... I didn't expect anyone else to be here today." Izuku stammered and bowed his head slightly despite the heavy trash in his hand.

"Was just jogging by here and saw this mess and figured I'd lend a hand. Can't let a hardworking guy do it all alone, right?"

Herman lied effortlessly, and it made Izuku's face flush with a mixture of surprise and gratitude.

"T-thank you! That's... that's really kind of you."

At that moment, they were already in a secluded place surrounded by trash, and seeing that there was no one around, Herman looked at Izuku's head and said in his heart.

'Mesmerizing Eyes: Trance!'

Almost instantly, Izuku's expression went blank. His pupils dilated, and a lifeless look appeared in his eyes as he stood there like a statue.

Considering that he hadn't received One For All, his will was as pathetic as it could be, completely fragile and filled to the brim with inferiority complexes. As such, the hypnosis effect on him was even stronger.

'Tsk tsk tsk. No mental defenses at all. If I didn't have plans for your mother, I'd probably just kick you into the ocean for being this pathetic… Well, on the positive side, this might be fun. Maybe I can use it against your mother, hehe.' Herman thought evilly.

Since the opportunity was there, he decided to do some experiments with this trance state. And so, he weaved a long suggestion and started planting it in Izuku's head with simple triggers.

'When I snap my fingers, you will wake up… You will not remember being in a trance… You will feel an intense sense of camaraderie with me... I am not a stranger… I am a close friend you've just met… You trust me implicitly...'

Herman snapped his fingers.

Snap.

Right away, Izuku's eyes regained their light, and he blinked, shaking his head slightly as if clearing the mental fog. Then he looked at Herman, and a genuine smile appeared on his face, the kind usually reserved for childhood friends.

But considering his almost gay-like relationship with Katsuki Bakugo, Herman shivered inexplicably, and he decided to keep his distance from this guy in the future once he fucked his mother.

Still, not letting his thoughts show on his face, Herman clapped a hand on Izuku's shoulder and said seriously.

"Man, you're doing a great job! Lifting all this trash all by yourself."

"Heh, thanks. I'm just doing what I can." Izuku accepted the compliment with a shy look, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Not many people can do that. Anyways, I'm Herman, by the way," Herman introduced himself.

"I'm Izuku! Izuku Midoriya."

"Nice to meet you, Izuku-kun."

Since Izuku was successfully hypnotized, he didn't stutter anymore, and with a feeling of talking to a close friend, he soon fell into Herman's rhythm as they talked and lifted trash together.

This also made Herman realize that Hypnosis suggestions given in a trance state were stronger, and could also be set with triggers like those 'Pendulum Hypnosis' he used to read in novels.

'Seems like capturing Izuku's mother would be even easier now.'

Despite the evil plans brewing in his heart, on the outside, Herman pretended to work efficiently, using his superior physique to clear the heavy items while Izuku handled the smaller bags.

"So," Herman started casually as they towed a rusted bicycle frame. "I'm actually new in town. Just moved here from the UK."

"UK?!"

Izuku gasped, and his nerd senses tingled. "Wow! That's so cool! Is it true that heroes there are allowed to use lethal force more often?"

"Something like that," Herman chuckled and then added. "My sister is actually a Pro Hero over in the United States. Maybe you've heard of her? Lady Hellfire?"

"L-Lady Hellfire?! The Inferno User?! She's ranked 42nd in the global hero charts! Her quirk allows her to manipulate hellfire that burns through anything!" Izuku almost dropped the bag he was holding in excitement.

'Looks like my sister is more famous than I thought, even Ochaco and Izuku have heard of her.'

Herman thought and some anticipation rose in his heart because the more famous his sister was, the more exciting and thrilling it would be to fuck her and make her his personal cock slut.

"The very same. She's my big sister."

"That's amazing!"

Izuku whipped out a small notebook from his pocket, frantically flipping through pages. "I have a page on her, but I didn't know she had a brother! Does that mean your quirk is fire-based too? Or is it a mutation type? Is it—"

"Whoa, slow down there, nerd. I'll tell you about it later. Let's focus on the trash."

With the mention of Lady Hellfire, Izuku was practically trembling with excitement, and the hypnotic suggestion in his mind solidified even more.

'Herman is cool... Herman is trustworthy… Herman is my friend…'

Time passed, and they continued to work, but soon the difference in stamina became apparent. Izuku started breathing heavily and had to lie down to take a break while Herman had barely broken a sweat.

This made Izuku look at Herman with envious eyes as he lifted a washing machine over his head with ease.

Noticing that envious gaze, Herman smirked inwardly and decided to stimulate Izuku more.

'Let's give him a little show. Transformation!'

As he activated his Quirk, his muscles bulged slightly, his arms thickened, and his hands grew larger. He gripped the washing machine, crushed it, and then directly threw it into a dumpster outside.

Seeing this scene, Izuku almost had his mouth wide open in shock.

"H-Herman-kun... that's incredible."

"Just making things go faster," Herman said dismissively, reverting his body to its normal lean state.

Looking at strong Herman, Izuku then looked down at his own skinny arms, and his envy turned into self-doubt. He hesitated for a second before he finally couldn't help but ask.

"H-Herman-kun?"

"Huh? What is it?"

"Can I ask you something?"

Herman knew exactly what was coming, but he still pretended to be oblivious.

"Sure, shoot."

Izuku took a deep breath, and his fists clenched at his sides. Even though he had received an answer from All Might, there was still some insecurity in his heart. After all, he hadn't inherited One For All yet and was still Quirkless.

"Can... Can someone without a Quirk be a hero?"

As expected, it was exactly what Herman had thought, but this only made him smirk inwardly.

'Well well, time to feed my stepson some inspirational bullshit.'
