Three months had passed since Daigo first sat in the meditation circle, three months that felt like an eternity carved into cold stone under an unforgiving sun.

During this time, Daigo had been in an uninterrupted cycle of meditation and silence.

His routine began with what was most important: his body. He spent the rest of the day in a meditative pose, attempting to enter Sage Mode, though it had been impossible thus far.

Despite his iron discipline and training, success did not come. Daigo had tried to tune his chakra thousands of times, but he always ended up exhausted, with the white sand violently expelling him from the circle.

He discovered through Matangi that the vibration he sought was not the one he felt, but one he would eventually distinguish and pursue, though he had not reached it yet.

One midday, when the heat inside the temple began to burn much more fiercely, Daigo felt his concentration fading as beads of sweat rolled down his head.

A sudden, dry blow to the top of his head violently snapped him out of what little focus he had left. Daigo opened his single pink eye, disoriented, and met Matangi's unflappable gaze.

"Rest, Daigo. Your mind is so tense that you are losing concentration over the drops of your own sweat. If you continue, you will only end the day frustrated and in a worse state," Matangi said, looking at him.

Daigo clenched his fists, feeling frustration bubble in his chest. "I've spent three months here, Matangi. I've felt many vibrations, some different and some repeated, but I feel like I'm hitting a wall. I can't find the one that will lead me to Sage Mode".

Matangi moved closer to sit near him, her presence calming the agitation in the air.

"At least you are aware of what your problem is, Daigo, although it is not something easily mastered. It took me twenty years to reach perfect resonance. Perhaps you won't achieve it today, nor in these remaining seven months, but the path will always be here for you to try again".

Those words hit Daigo harder than the blow to his head. He realized that in his desire to become strong, he had turned his training into a burden.

He nodded in silence, stood up, and went out to the temple balcony to observe the valley. For hours, he didn't think about chakra or Sage Mode.

He simply watched how the wind moved the sand and how the young elephants played in the distance.

When the sun began to set, tinting the sky a deep orange, Daigo returned to the circle. He was no longer in a hurry. He wasn't seeking power.

He just wanted to be present. He sat on the sand, closed his eye, and for the first time in three months, he stopped trying to control his chakra. He simply... listened.

And then, in the absolute silence of his mind, the miracle occurred.

It wasn't just the mechanical vibration he was used to hearing. It was a song. An ancient, vast, and deep melody emanating from the very core of the planet. It was a complex rhythm that connected every grain of sand with the roots of the mountains and the underground lava flows.

Daigo began to follow that melody with his soul, and he felt the boundary between his body and the world dissolve.

He felt his spirit leave the limits of his body. For a moment, he wasn't Daigo; he was the valley itself. He could feel what Daisen had shown him once: the ability to listen through the earth. But now it was a thousand times more intense.

His detection range expanded exponentially. He could feel the heartbeat of an insect three kilometers away and the friction of tectonic plates moving at abyssal depths.

When Daigo finally opened his eye, the transformation was total. The usual pink color had disappeared, replaced by a dilated pupil surrounded by an intense, electric yellow. Green marks, as if someone had drawn them, emerged on his face, giving him an ancestral appearance.

Most impressive was his glass eye: under the patch, it began to emit an emerald glow so powerful that the fabric seemed to become translucent.

The melody continued in a unique rhythm that he had never heard during his life, and by moving his chakra along with it, Daigo succeeded.

Matangi, watching from her safe spot, felt a chill. Through her own Sage Mode, she perceived a harmony so pure that for a moment she feared Daigo would vanish into the natural energy. But the young man held firm, balancing the immensity of the world with his own essence.

However, the effort was too much for a first contact. A few seconds later, the melody faded and his sensory range snapped back to his body. Daigo blinked, exhausted but with a smile that wouldn't fit on his face.

"I did it... Matangi, I really felt it. It was only an instant, but it was... incredible," Daigo said, standing up with a lightness he had never experienced.

Matangi nodded, her voice filled with a respect that wasn't there before. "You have heard the melody. You have taken three months to do what takes others entire lifetimes. Now that you have entered the flow, your path as a shinobi has changed forever. You must understand that this Sage Mode not only increases your physical strength and the quality of your chakra but also grants you unique abilities born from resonance".

Daigo stepped closer, every fiber of his being attentive to his master's words.

"First, you now possess Photographic Chakra Memory. Thanks to our clan's cerebral capacity, your mind can process and store information with absolute precision. You won't just remember faces or scrolls; you will remember the exact chakra flow of every technique you see. Your brain will be able to replicate movements and jutsus with millimeter accuracy, eliminating any waste of energy".

"That would explain why I felt I could sense my own chakra channels as if they were maps," Daigo commented in awe.

"Exactly. And along with that, you have Infrasonic Echolocation. Is a improve version of the seismic sense to track your enemies. You can emit low-frequency vibrations that bounce off everything around you. For you, the world no longer has secrets; you can see through walls, under the ground, and detect an enemy's intent by the rhythm of their pulse, all from kilometers away".

Daigo closed his eye, trying to recover a bit of that sensory feeling. But what Matangi said next changed his expression from discovering something new to use, to something that truly surprised him.

"But the greatest advantage is Kinetic Flow. Humans depend on hand signs because their minds are forgetful and they need gestures to guide chakra. But you now have the memory of the earth. You no longer need signs. With your photographic memory, your chakra knows where to go. Now, your jutsus will be guided by your body movements, like a war dance.

If you throw a punch, the earth will resonate with it. If you make a fluid movement, the crystal will obey. This will make your chakra consumption minimal, allowing you to create and use jutsus quickly without stopping what you were doing".

"That's incredible. Then it would be almost impossible to defeat me once I enter Sage Mode," Daigo asked.

"That is correct, although there is something I haven't told you. Unlike the Sage Modes of other summons, ours lasts only until the melody disappears," Matangi said.

"Oh, I see. So during the time the melody runs, I can use all of this. Well, even the world itself manages to restrain a power as strong as this".

"Indeed. The longest melody I have ever heard was 5 minutes, though after that, I ended up unable to use my chakra for a while".

"I see. Well, I think it's time I continue. At least if I manage to follow the melodies for a minute, I should be fine".

Without waiting another second, Daigo returned to the sand to begin trying to enter Sage Mode and continue listening to the melody.

The initial success was just the first step in learning the other abilities Sage Mode included. Although he had managed to touch the melody, maintaining it was impossible, as Matangi explained once you left, you lost the connection.

Over the remaining seven months, Matangi told him he would learn how to use the unique abilities of Sage Mode and attempt to extend the melody beyond one minute. This would be grueling for Daigo, but he accepted; he knew that without suffering, he wouldn't get the gains he sought.

He never said no to a training session from Matangi, who seemed indifferent to his condition, training him day and night until his reserves were empty.

The months began to pass in a blink.

During the fourth month, Daigo focused on Photographic Chakra Memory. Matangi didn't let him meditate all day; now, she performed different jutsus and movements in front of him.

"Observe not just my body's movement, Daigo, but the trail my chakra leaves in the air," Matangi ordered.

Thanks to his new brain capacity, Daigo discovered his mind could "record" the exact flow of chakra. He no longer needed scrolls to study the theory of a jutsu; his brain stored the information like a three-dimensional map.

With Matangi's help, he learned more Earth jutsus that he didn't have, which Matangi had acquired over her many years of life, filling his arsenal even further.

As time passed, Daigo learned that Infrasonic Echolocation was a double-edged sword. At first, the information overload caused him terrible headaches. He felt everything and couldn't stop it, so that was what they practiced.

"It's too much, Matangi. I feel like my head is going to explode with so much noise," he confessed one afternoon during training.

"That's because you are trying to listen to everything at once," she replied calmly.

"Learn to filter. Search only for what matters. Although this gives you everything, sometimes it isn't important to have control over everything. Focus on what is important: you and me".

By the end of the sixth month, Daigo no longer needed to open his eye to know where Matangi was, even when she tried to hide. He could "see" her silhouette through everything, no matter what.

If Daigo was already good at knowing if someone was near, in Sage Mode he became the perfect sensor.

The final months were the most revolutionary. Kinetic Flow completely changed his understanding of combat. Under Matangi's supervision, Daigo stopped practicing hand signs.

At first, it felt strange; his hands instinctively sought the tiger or ox positions, but Matangi would gently tap him with her trunk every time he tried.

"Remember, your signs are no longer necessary. Just focus on directing the chakra as your mind remembers it, and you will succeed".

Gradually, Daigo began to integrate his combat movements with his will. If he threw a punch into the air, a crystal pillar would sprout from the ground following his arm's trajectory. There was no delay, no interruption.

His jutsus became extensions of his limbs. He discovered he could use his abilities much faster, keeping his Magma Cloak active while performing mid-air spins and coordinated attacks without losing a shred of concentration.

Upon reaching the final month, Daigo's transformation was evident. His body was more defined than ever, and his glass eye shone with constant intensity. However, the time limit remained his greatest obstacle.

"Today you lasted three minutes, Daigo," Matangi said as the young man fell to his knees, the green marks on his face fading.

"I feel like I've run a marathon," Daigo gasped, catching his breath. "But every time, the melody is clearer. I feel like I can stretch it further if I keep practicing".

"That is how I managed to extend my melodies as well," she told him. "You have learned to use your eyes to remember, your ears to see, and your body to speak. Now you only have to live in that song until time stops".

In his final week in the valley, Daigo rested. He did no training or anything that required chakra; he enjoyed everything he had achieved during these months.

Looking at himself in a crystal mirror, he noticed he had grown; what little "baby fat" he had left had completely disappeared, leaving a teenager who could be mistaken for a 22-year-old adult but in reality he is 16.

His long hair falling down his back was as unruly as ever.

His skin was brighter from the mineral baths, and his muscles, which were finer before, were now more pronounced.

He was happy, so sitting in a crystal chair, he closed his eyes, taking a nap that would help him before returning to take command once again.
