Conrad thought about everything that he had learned about Izbis and about Viridians.
"I am almost sure that what I think is right."
"It also reveals that Viridian Vein, I am not sure if it is the real name, is a sentient creature and capable of forming contracts with Nen users."
"The nen users do not need to be too strong or have too much control, just a willingness to form conditions..."
Izbis spoke as he saw Conrad silent for some time.
"What is it, human?"
"What are you thinking?"
Conrad looked at Izbis and then asked.
"Are your people happy in Viridian?"
"I mean, would you think that living inside of Viridian did save you greatly?"
Izbis nodded.
"Yes."
"There is no doubt if not for this region, we would have died out."
"We were chased by too many dangerous creatures..."
"That is why we have named ourselves Viridian..."
"In the name of the Virdis."
Conrad caught the word.
"Virdis?"
"Who is that?"
Izbis said it seems like no questions Conrad was asked were secret, or Izbis did not really know about them.
"Virdis is the soul of this area; it lives deep inside the valley, a glowing green stone..."
"It is said that our ancestor spoke to that stone and then made sure that we are alive."
Conrad let out a cold breath.
"Okay."
"I am feeling tired and hungry."
"I will go to my cave and we will meet again."
"When I want to meet you, I can send my orbs as you first saw."
Izbis nodded.
"That is acceptable."
"But you need to answer some of my questions too when you come back."
Conrad asked.
"What kind of questions do you want to ask me?"
Izbis said.
"Everything about the outside world and your people."
"I am not sure why you guys are capable of living here while you should not be."
Conrad nodded.
"Fuck..."
"He makes a great point."
"So, the protective measures of location end with the spores and poison."
"It does not block any danger that may have resistance to the poison of this area."
Conrad nodded and left to go back to his cave.
He needed to think and rest a little bit before keeping on talking.
-
Conrad took some papers from his bag after he reached the cave, and first he wrote in "Ancient Script" on the paper.
"Clear Air." After he prepared several of these papers with ancient script on them, he used his "Nen" to infuse them with aura and continued to add more aura into the papers.
Then, he took the papers and placed them in the different areas in the cave.
After everything was ready, he activated it.
With his activation, the cave inside started getting clearer each second, and it made it easier for Conrad to keep on living in the cave.
"It takes about 30% of my aura to prepare such a clear air effect via 'Ancient Script.'"
"I think each time I use 30% of my aura to prepare, it should last one day for me before not working anymore."
This meant if Conrad wanted more clear air in his cave, he needed to spend thirty percent of his total existing aura to power the clear air.
"I can make it more efficient tomorrow."
"Now."
"I need to think and strategize."
-
Virdis – Viridian Ancestor, Izbis, Viridians, Environment, Spores, and Mushrooms.
Conrad wrote some of the things and then kept on writing.
"Event 1—Viridian Ancestor escaped from the extinction event and met with Virdis."
"Event 2 – Viridan Ancestor was capable of using nen; Virdis made a nen pact with him via a nen ability or something similar.
"Event 3 – In return for the "nen pact," the Viridian Ancestor died, Viridians were born with a "Viridian Breathing Organ," and they were forbidden from leaving the area; if they did, they would be killed."
Conrad stopped.
"Something is not right."
"Izbis said that he clearly believes if not for Virdis and his ancient ancestor dealing with him, they would be eradicated."
"But in Rokaria, there is no creature capable of eradicating the 'Viridians'..."
Conrad then gulped as he noticed something.
"What if?" he asked as he started moving back and forth in the cave.
"What if the region is not only an environment and a piece of big land but also some sort of a pocket dimension?"
"Piece of a part from a bigger area."
Conrad took a deep breath and wrote.
"After the agreement, Virdis used his nen ability to cut a piece of land and made it toxic enough to harm many dangerous creatures and sent the land to another area, to a safer place than where it was before."
Conrad smiled and nodded.
"I think..."
"I think that Virdis is a creature from a dark continent..."
"Viridians lived in the dark continent and were to be eradicated."
"But they made a deal with Virdis to have their own area..."
"Virdis gave them an area and put rules on them; he also sent the area to the "Known World" from the dark continent."
"This is why there are no more creatures trying to enter Viridian."
"In the known world, the poisonous environment here is only capable of being passed by humans with technological abilities and high-level nen users capable like me."
"If the timeline is not wrong..."
"Thousand years ago, humans would not have such technology to do something like that."
Conrad took a deep breath and nodded.
"Now."
"I need to know one more thing from Izbis."
"What kind of a thing they are giving to Virdis..."
"Now that I have a better idea about events..."
"I think that mushroom on their shoulder is not just for breathing..."
"It must have some sort of marking capability."
"I also think that the soul of Virdis is not the original one; that kind of living being would not leave the Dark Continent to come here."
"Where there is no aura in the area and the place is too small to conquer or do anything in general."
Conrad took a deep breath.
"I never expected a simple, creational condition for a new ability would have such mystery and a dark, continental creature inside of it."
