Evan watched it grow larger and larger untill it was almost six feet tall. Saying it was scary was an understatement. The thing was traumatizing.
Evan saw Elena flash a smile as the others lowered their hands , only Elena's hands remained up. She moved it above her head, then casually tossed it in Evan's direction.
It started moving slowly but gained speed. As it came closer, Evan reminisced about his life. It was surprising, from birth to his mother's death, from his first meeting with Clara to his first meeting with Casta.
From his step- mothers' 'playdate' to his fun time with them till now. He did not hold a grudge against them, no, he held one's of different levels for each.
Bearing the same grudge towards them was to much mercy, he would make them suffer. They soon launched ranged attacks with Elena coming every so often to remind him of his 'dream.'
Elena probed and harassed his mind over and over. She went and come and at some point, he could not raise his head. The fatigue was too much, both physical and mental.
During one of his sessions with Elena, she probed too far. She tried looking at what it was like before birth, for reasons unknown. She uncovered his memories of the six figures although it was not complete.

( Elena's POV)
The way Evan's face contorted in pain was exquisite to watch. I'm truly thankful to the gods for granting me this power.
I'm trying to find what will make him break. It is harder than you would expect. Oh, what's this, seven thrones, various colours but only six figures.
He seemed scared of them, no not scared, horrified. Whatever they were ,they must have put him through hell.
'Wow. Brother actually had a vision. Hmm, only the name stands out, Goddess...Aurora! How did he get her attention?'
I let his head go, if he got attention from one of the thirteen gods of nature. According to lore, she is within the top five of those gods.
'Wait, it is a lie. If it was true she would have saved him. Yeah, it's false yeah.' It felt like a huge weight was lifted off my chest.
I went back to probing his mind but I was refused access. Even though the strength was not much, it was enough but I caught a name,' Evan Jason.'

(Normal POV)
Elena slowly stepped back away, wary , what if it was the goddess who provided him with a little mental fortitude.
Well , no matter, she found out how to throw him over the edge. Duke Ronald sent one of the blue head boys out, whom returned with four people in flowing while robes or lab coats, hard to tell.
They unchained Evan and two of them dragged him out, the other two following behind. Elena turned to her father, curious," Daddy, do you have robes that fit mom, Darius' and Casta's moms, Casta, Darius and me?"
"Why do you ask sweet heart?"
"I know how to break brother."
"What exactly do you need?"
Elena went on to explain everything she saw in terms of what she needed, meanwhile, the four men dragged Evan into a pur white room adorned with scattered typical scientific materials.
They placed him on a slightly diagonal table and hooked all kinds of cables on him. Evan, pretended to be asleep and, as expected, the did it carefully.
Though the pain of having needles and machines hooked up was no laughing matter. Once done, they went to a small control room behind glass walls.
It had all the gizmo you expect with numerous dials, buttons and much more. On a screen, showed Evan's heart rate, body temperature and something called cell deconstruction.
" Evan I know you are awake," Evan's heart rate spiked," Breathe. Now we need you awake so we are going to flood your body with something special to release your body's adrenaline. "
Evan felt something coursing through his body at a fast rate. It was not exactly painful nor soothing; he felt his body flood with adrenaline.
He spoke through the P.A ,"Begin cell deconstruction,2%." Pain rivaling the day he played with his three step-mothers , washed over him like a tide, threatening to drown him.
"Hmm, cell deconstruction barely half a percent," said one of the scientists behind a large monitor. Evan moved his eyes with great effort to observe his surroundings.
What he saw made him lift his brow in painful suprise. They had technology rivaling, no , maybe better, than Earth's. ' If I remember, they had Victorian era tech, why are they so advanced? What's forcing them to advance this fast?'
Evan wondered momentarily forgetting the situation, but, the head scientist's voice brought him back," Ramp up to 3%." Horror was visibly written on Evan's face. If the other was just 2% what about 3%?
Evan stared at the scientists with pleading eyes but they either pretended not to notice or just didn't care. The pain erupted in him, but, to what they thought was just a 1% increase, to him it felt like it had multiplied by a hundred if not a thousand.
He felt it come, not from his muscles, tissues, tendons nor bones but from a cellular level. Saying it hurt would be like mocking it, it was hellish pain.
Evan spoke in a barely audible, hoarse voice," Why the pain? Why not a decent reincarnation?" He felt like breaking down. The head scientist spoke, as if responding to his question.
"The reason for the cell deconstruction is that we don't want to extract your mana veins too early. We might damage them or your body will. We need to understand your body.
"Only then can we begin. If you're wondering when, at the best, if we are reckless, at 50% cell deconstruction. But the most optimum would be at 85%; anymore and your dead.
"I don't mean the interruption we are doing, no. Once your cells actually deconstruct upto the desired point will we begin ,till then... Good luck"
The pain, still of the wavelength coursed through his body like a raging river. It continued endlessly, for God knows how long. Evan let out croaks and groans of pain over the period.
He would rather chose a psycho-killer than this family. He remembered his mother, but instead of feeling sad, he wanted to bash her face in.
The reason? Only he knows. After what felt like a century but was actually three days, Casta came. She heard him grunt in pain but felt like rolling over, and felt her ribs her from her maniacal laugh.
Evan lifted his head slowly and locked eyes with her, occasionally flinching but his eyes didn't move. Quiet fury burned within. She walked towards him and with hand, she cast a healing spell.
Evan's face palled which made her chuckle. It was not that he hated the healing, in fact, it refreshed him but at a great cost. He stared at her, his eyes pleading with her to leave and never return.
She blew him a kiss then sasheyed away. Evan felt like losing his mind.
'She healed me. She fucking healed me. Now the cell deconstruction has reset...'
As if confirming, the head scientist clicked his tongue in annoyance and... amusement? "Boy, we have to start over ,bare with us, okay?"
He didn't wait for Evan to respond before waving his hand to his colleague. Pain from earlier hurt worse this time, he could tell, no , feel that it was of the same intensity.
But it hurt worse. The process repeated in the same manner for around a year, Casta occasionally visiting until his birthday arrived. The whole family came, dressed as if visiting the Queen of the Queendom Alexander.
The men bowed while the women curtsied. Ronald barked at the head scientist," How far are you?"
The head scientist was visibly nervous,"My lord his body is still to... unstable..."
Ronald glanced at him, his cold gaze cutting through the man," Did I ask for excuses. I know it's low so ramp it up to hmmm..."
