Jared Yates let out a resigned sigh and floored it.
'He had to be crazy to let her get away with this foolishness.'
The car soon reached her apartment complex. Zoe Yates had her brother stop at the main gate, then grabbed her bag and hurriedly got out. "Bro, drive safe. I'm heading in."
"Slow down, or you'll trip!"
Jared Yates called out worriedly, watching her run off.
Back home, Zoe Yates rushed to her room to change. She put on her wig, went to the bathroom to wash all the makeup off her face, and had just finished hiding her women's clothing when Zachary Redgrave returned.
'Whew, that was a close call. Scared me half to death.'
Zoe Yates took a deep breath to calm her nerves before stepping out of her bedroom. "You're back, Redgrave."
"Mm. Why are you so out of breath?"
Zachary Redgrave glanced at Zoe Yates, asking as he changed into his slippers.
"The taxi driver dropped me off at the main gate, so I had to run all the way here. That's probably why I'm a bit winded."
