Once they were out of the restaurant, Zoe took a deep breath, feeling like she'd narrowly escaped disaster. "Let's go, Bro. We can eat somewhere else."
"Are you that scared of him? If you two actually start dating, I really couldn't trust him with you."
"Oh, come on, Bro. Nothing's even started yet. Let's just go."
Terrified of being spotted by Zachary, Zoe dragged her brother into the car.
They had barely driven away when Zoe's phone started ringing. It was Zachary.
'Oh no, he couldn't have seen me, could he?'
Zoe muttered to herself, the phone in her hand feeling like a hot potato. After hesitating for a long while, she finally hit the answer key.
"Hello, Redgrave. What can I do for you?"
"Get home right now. I'm hungry, and you're eating with me."
'Good, he didn't recognize me.' Zoe glanced at her brother and said with some difficulty, "But... I was just about to eat with my brother. Could you maybe order some takeout for yourself?"
