Laura Lowell picked up her bag from the table, put on her overcoat, and left.
After leaving the office, Laura Lowell drove straight to the hospital. It was almost noon, and she planned on asking Hannah Hale out for lunch.
After parking her car in the hospital's underground garage, Laura Lowell put on a black face mask and took the elevator up.
As Laura pushed open the door to Hannah's office, she found her friend just about to eat. "Laura, what a surprise! What brings you here?"
"Wow, that smells amazing. I was going to ask you to go out for lunch with me, but it looks like that won't be necessary."
Laura took off her overcoat, leaned over the desk, and popped a piece of braised pork into her mouth. "Whose cooking is this? It's incredible. Almost good enough to be from a master chef."
