Nathan Redgrave released Hannah Hale's wrist, turned his head, and looked out the window.
In that split second their eyes had met, Hannah Hale could feel her heart and pulse racing uncontrollably.
At the hospital, Hannah Hale accompanied Nathan Redgrave while he was examined. The results showed gastric bleeding caused by drinking. He would need an IV drip and to be kept for observation for a few days.
The female doctor in the ER gave Hannah Hale a look and asked in a low voice, "Who's he? Won't that handsome guy who brought you to the hospital last time get mad seeing you with another man?"
Hannah couldn't believe it. 'How can she be so gossipy?'
"He's my neighbor. I was afraid it would be dangerous for him to drive alone in so much pain, so I brought him here on my way to work."
