"Mr. Redgrave, given your current condition, you need to be hospitalized for observation."
The young nurse gathered her things and offered the advice kindly.
Nathan Redgrave fastened the cufflink on his white shirt with one hand, his cool voice emerging from his lips. "I know."
'If you know, then why are you having your assistant pick you up to go to the office?'
The young nurse grumbled silently to herself and left.
Dressed, Nathan Redgrave sat down on the sofa, crossed his legs, and immediately began handling files in his phone's email inbox.
His assistant arrived at the hospital half an hour later. When he saw Hannah Hale asleep, slumped over the hospital bed, it was as if he had discovered a new continent.
He pretended to be grabbing something, intentionally circling around to Hannah Hale's front to get a good look at her.
"Are the discharge papers sorted?"
