Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

"Let's go home, it's getting late, and our parents haven't eaten yet," said Zena with feelings that were difficult to describe. Knowing that they still had parents in this world, Zena's heart felt warm. In their previous life, they had lost their parents when they were young. Now, in this second life, they were given the opportunity to have parents again, and Zena promised to take care of them as best she could.

"Come on, sis. But let's find food first. How about we hunt in the forest? But we don't have any arrows or other weapons," Zeslin sighed in confusion.

"If only we had arrows," Zeslin muttered as she rubbed the ring on her finger. Suddenly, she found herself holding a bow and arrow. Zeslin and Zena were very surprised. Seeing this, Zena tried to do the same thing. She held her necklace and said her wish in her heart.

"I want my favorite dagger."

In an instant, a dagger appeared in her hand. Zena stared at the dagger with sparkling eyes because it was her weapon when she was a ninja.

"Sis, this is amazing!" Zeslin shouted happily.

"Can I ask for food too, Sis? I'm very hungry," Zeslin asked, turning to his sister. Zena just shrugged, unsure.

"You try it," replied Zena, observing her surroundings warily.

Zena closed her eyes, relying on her hearing and inner vision as she had when she was a ninja. She heard footsteps; there were about four people approaching. Zena immediately took Zeslin to hide in a tree. She guessed that they were the villagers who had helped them earlier.

Her guess was correct. Soon after, two villagers came with two other people to carry the bodies of those they thought were dead. However, when they arrived, the two girls were gone. They were confused because they couldn't find any footprints. As it was already late afternoon and night was approaching, the four people finally went back to their respective homes.

After they left, Zena and Zeslin climbed down from the tree. Zeslin rubbed her ring again.

"I want two sandwiches, two spaghetti, and two cold drinks," she said silently.

In an instant, the food appeared in front of them, still warm.

"It worked! This is great. We won't be short of anything," Zeslin shouted happily.

"Let's eat first so we can regain our strength," said Zeslin as she gave the food to her sister.

"We don't need to hunt if we can ask for food," said Zeslin between bites.

"Don't talk while eating. We still have to hunt so our parents won't get suspicious," Zena admonished.

Zeslin nodded in agreement. After finishing their meal, they went into the forest to hunt. Zeslin caught two live jungle fowl and found four eggs, while Zena managed to kill a deer. After cleaning and cutting up the deer meat, they immediately returned home.

Using their body-lightening skills, they ran quickly, jumping over the roofs of the villagers' houses. Fifteen minutes later, they arrived home.

"Mom, we're home!" shouted Jena and Jeslin, according to the names of the bodies they occupied in this world.

"You're home? It's already nighttime. You played too long," their mother replied softly.

"Mom...!" Zena and Zeslin were shocked when they saw their mother's face, which was very similar to their mother in their previous life. They looked at each other, wondering if their father was the same.

"What's wrong with you?" asked Jira, surprised to see her two daughters silent.

"Nothing, Mom. How is Dad? Have you and Dad eaten yet?" Jena asked guiltily.

"Yes, I boiled some wild vegetables," Jira replied reassuringly.

"Mom, here's what we hunted," Jeslin said, handing over the chicken and deer meat.

"You caught them?" Jira asked incredulously.

"Yes, Mom. You can cook it. We want to visit Dad first," replied Jena.

"Do you understand medicinal plants?" asked Jira, even more surprised.

"Don't worry about it, Mom. Just cook it, we're hungry," said Jeslin, spoiledly hugging her mother's arm.

Jira finally went to the kitchen. Zeslin followed Zena to their father's room. Zena looked emotionally at her father's face, which turned out to be very similar to her father's in her previous life.

"Sis... Dad's face is similar to our father's in the past. We have parents again," Jeslin sobbed.

Zena hugged her sister so she wouldn't cry too hard.

"Calm down, let's treat Dad first."

Zena checked her father's pulse and examined his condition with her inner eye. After discovering his illness, she took out the pills she had made and put them in their father's mouth.

"Now you wait for Dad. I'm going to take a shower first," said Zena softly.

Zeslin nodded obediently.
