March 1975. Five-year-old Tony Stark built his first V8 engine, and once again, the name of the genius Stark echoed throughout the world.
In May 1975, Howard Stark began a full-scale upgrade of the Arc Reactor technology. However, limited by existing tech, he quickly hit a bottleneck.
By June, Howard Stark hosted the annual Stark Industries Expo with his five-year-old son Tony. No groundbreaking inventions were displayed, yet the Starks still stole the spotlight.
In July, the Vietnam War, which had raged for twenty years, ended in defeat for the United States. General Thaddeus Ross, having purchased bio-enhancement serums from Evolution Glory Bio Corp, had performed remarkably and was promoted to full general. Obsessed with replicating the serum's effects, Ross began turning his attention toward the Super Soldier Program.
By August 1975, under Lancelot's orders, the Mutant Evolution House shifted its focus to space-based development.
At the core of the Mutant Evolution House, Lancelot sat on his throne, quietly observing a directed-evolution transplant experiment. Magneto, Bradley, Sailor Anna, and Dr. Leonard lay in their evolution pods, awaiting their space-membrane implants.
"Sir, directed evolution is ready," Dr. Graham said excitedly, operating the evolution device and inserting the spatial membranes extracted from Darwin.
"Begin," Lancelot commanded, his eyes glowing faintly.
Following his order, Dr. Graham activated the evolution apparatus. Golden light exploded from the four pods.
Gradually, the glow intensified. On the surface of Magneto's four bodies, cells began turning gold. A mysterious, faintly golden bio-membrane spread over them, like magical runes etched in living flesh, making them appear sanctified, untouchable.
Three hours later, the light dimmed. The evolution pods opened, and Magneto and the others rose to sit up. Golden space membranes shimmered across their bodies, intricate patterns flickering across the surface. Beneath the membrane, the four radiated a golden aura.
"It feels incredible… I barely even need to breathe," Magneto said. The membrane extracted oxygen directly from the air and infused it into his bloodstream.
"Congratulations. You are now the first Mutant Gods," Lancelot said with satisfaction.
"All hail our King!" The four immediately knelt, paying homage to Lancelot.
"Let's go and build our kingdom of gods," Lancelot commanded, gesturing toward a portal.
Magneto, Bradley, Sailor Anna, and Dr. Leonard stepped through as data forms, emerging in the space lab's changing area.
"Sentinel II armor, activate," Bradley commanded, tapping his wrist device. His mutant ability immediately took control of the room. The four pre-prepared Sentinel II suits assembled around them, forming lightweight space armor. Though their membranes allowed survival in vacuum, the suits protected them from radiation.
"Forward, to the God Realm," Magneto said, and the suits lifted into the portal.
Whoosh. The others followed.
Once in the God Realm, Magneto immediately began manipulating metal. In front of an elliptical building, Mutant Evolution House soldiers had already transported construction materials through the portal. With a thought, Magneto lifted the materials.
Rumble.
Countless materials flew into the air, then silently assembled into a skyscraper hundreds of meters tall. Visual shockwaves radiated as Magneto's power shaped the construction.
After erecting the building, Bradley and Dr. Leonard entered. Leonard's body twitched as hundreds of spectral duplicates of him emerged, arranging electronics and equipment efficiently. Bradley's telekinesis powered all systems, instantly lighting the building and activating communications and medical infrastructure.
"Communications online. Medical systems online…" Bradley's voice echoed throughout.
Outside, Lancelot's Tendo Pain approached Sailor Anna.
"Divine Severance," Tendo Pain commanded, releasing a repulsive force that carved ten deep craters across the plains.
"Use your abilities, Anna," Pain ordered.
"Yes, my King," Sailor Anna bowed, transforming into a stream of water under Pain's gaze. With her power, she filled the craters with water, submerging vehicles and preparing the land.
"Water supply secure. If only the Storm Ororo Munro had awakened her own mutation, we could have created thunderclouds here," Pain remarked, satisfied. Anna then floated to the newly constructed building.
Inside, thanks to Bradley and Leonard, the skyscraper was fully modernized, with smoothly running electronics and state-of-the-art facilities. On the rooftop stood the God Throne, a shape-shifting, bio-mechanical crown for Lancelot.
Seated on the throne via Tendo Pain, Lancelot suddenly seemed to perceive every mountain and detail across the world. Before the throne stretched the vast blue planet, appearing close enough to touch.
