Deep in the cosmos, everything was silent.
But when Deva Path Pain unleashed his power, the once-still universe was like a deep lake struck by a falling stone.
Across the distant void, as far as the eye could see, countless meteors began to move, streaking through space like blazing comet tails.
Their sizes varied, yet every single one carried enough momentum to shatter the Moon.
And as they drew closer, their speed only continued to increase.
The distance between the asteroid belt and the Moon was immeasurable—
yet under the terrifying gravitational pull of Lancelot's Deva Path, those meteors crossed the void and arrived above the Moon within mere hours.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
Suspended in space, Deva Path Pain raised his right hand.
A monstrous repulsive force erupted.
Every meteor froze in place, stacked densely above his head.
The sky was completely blotted out.
Anyone suffering from severe claustrophobia would have collapsed instantly.
Crack.
After suppressing the meteors, Pain brought his hands together.
Gravity within his body converged violently between his palms.
"Super Planetary Devastation."
Pain opened his mouth in a silent roar.
A pitch-black sphere—like a newborn black hole—formed in his palm.
He released it.
The sphere floated upward through the vacuum.
When it reached one thousand meters above him, a blinding white radiance burst forth from above the black core.
"Hah!"
On Earth, deep within the Mutant Evolution Homeland, Lancelot clasped his hands together.
The power of his Rinnegan surged like a tsunami, flowing through the black rods and pouring directly into Deva Path Pain.
Rumble—!
In the depths of space, Pain's face twisted as Heavenly Path power flooded the Planetary Devastation core.
Even for the sake of constructing a super-massive mutant base, Lancelot was burning through his energy at an insane rate.
"Shaka Eye—open."
Boom.
Lancelot released the energy stored within his eyes.
A terrifying beam of light erupted from his body, then was forcibly injected into Deva Path Pain through the Rinnegan.
Pain's power skyrocketed.
"Hah!"
His muscles contorted as divine force poured into Planetary Devastation.
Click—click—click.
The black sphere collapsed into a true singularity.
Every meteor nearby—regardless of size—was instantly torn apart and dragged upward.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Fragments shattered, forming vast rings of debris.
Within minutes, the palm-sized sphere expanded into a colossal stone world.
And it didn't stop.
Gravity intensified.
The pull pierced the vacuum and reached the far side of the Moon.
Huge chunks of lunar rock were ripped free, drifting upward and merging into the growing planetary mass.
Three days later—
Under Lancelot's control, ten artificial planetoids, each over 2,000 kilometers in diameter, formed above the Moon.
Their gravity exceeded Earth's.
They were rich in cosmic metals—materials Earth had never possessed.
The only flaw?
No air.
No water.
No life.
But that was acceptable.
Mutants could solve the rest.
Deva Path Pain descended onto one of the newborn worlds and flexed his fingers.
The gravity felt… familiar.
Standing there, Lancelot gazed back at Earth.
From space, Earth's rotation felt shockingly fast—
like watching a train from outside instead of sitting inside it.
Behind him, the Sun burned brilliantly, illuminating the entire artificial planet in eternal daylight.
"Leave a mark here."
Pain formed a black rod and drove it into the planet's surface.
"Now," Lancelot said softly,
"let us begin constructing the space base."
He opened his eyes.
"Spiritual Call."
Boom.
Pain was instantly summoned back.
Though the construction took only days in space—
three months had passed on Earth.
"Emma, how is Darwin adapting to space?"
Lancelot appeared in the evolution laboratory in a flash of red mist, standing beside Emma Frost.
Through the observation window, Darwin lay inside a vacuum chamber.
"My King, you're awake," Emma said softly.
"After three months of adaptive evolution, Darwin developed a biological membrane.
It allows him to barely survive in a vacuum—but only briefly."
Lancelot frowned.
Inside the chamber, Darwin's body was coated in a faint yellow membrane, patterned like glowing runes.
It absorbed trace particles from the vacuum and converted them into oxygen.
After 3.3 minutes, the membrane dimmed… and vanished.
Darwin suffocated instantly.
"Open the chamber—now!" a scientist shouted.
The chamber opened.
Darwin walked out as if nothing had happened.
"My lord… I failed you," he said, ashamed.
Lancelot placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You did well, Darwin. Don't rush it—we have time."
Darwin clenched his fists, eyes blazing.
"I won't disappoint you again, my King."
