"Red Devil Azazel, send me to the Path of Heaven—into extraterrestrial orbit.
The Siberian Base, the homeland of mutant evolution."
At this moment, Lancelot's true body seemed to fall into a deep slumber.
Meanwhile, the handsome Deva Path he had created spoke in a low, icy voice.
"Deva Path—Pain."
All the mutants before Lancelot stared at the Deva Path Pain, whose face was pierced with special black rods, scarcely daring to breathe.
Although the Mutant Evolution Family had already conquered aging and disease, death still remained unconquered.
Seeing a corpse rise again under Lancelot's control did not shock them.
Even Sebastian Shaw, who had lived through World War II, could not help but marvel at the unfathomable depth of Lancelot's power.
"My lord… what exactly is this space homeland you speak of?"
Mystique (Raven) asked, voicing the question on every mutant's mind.
"Earth is far too small for us mutants," Lancelot said calmly, pride resonating in his voice.
"It is so small that we cannot even move freely upon it."
"We already hold the key to evolution and have stepped onto a glorious evolutionary path.
Yet human society remains ignorant, chaotic, and backward."
"In ancient times, humans worshiped magic and called it god.
But we—our Mutant Evolution Family—are already hundreds of years ahead of human evolution."
"Humanity… is still stagnant."
Lancelot's voice grew deeper, heavier, shaking the air itself.
"We mutants have transcended humanity and opened the road to godhood.
We are destined to become the gods humanity looks up to."
"Gods do not dwell among humans.
We mutants should live in the heavens—above mankind."
This doctrine once again ignited the crowd.
As in ancient times, ignorant humans had feared power and worshiped gods.
And now—
mutants had mastered biological evolution, cast off birth, aging, sickness, and death, and begun to command the forces of nature.
To humanity, this was divine power.
The mutant family were the new gods of this era.
"Gods do not dwell among humans!"
Emma Frost and the others shouted in unison, eyes burning as they stared at Lancelot.
This man had brought them evolution, glory, and a future.
The God of Mutants.
"In ancient times, the Asgardians lived atop the World Tree," Lancelot continued.
"Now, I will lead mutants to build a godly dwelling of their own."
Controlling Deva Path Pain, Lancelot accessed the satellite database, enlarged the Earth–Moon image, and clicked on the far side of the Moon.
"Live in space.
Look down upon Earth."
This single sentence defined his space plan.
The mutants stared at the satellite projection in awe.
The idea was insane—arrogant beyond belief.
And yet… with limitless mutant abilities, it no longer felt impossible.
Once achieved, mutants would stand apart from humanity—
gazing down from the heavens.
"Long live our King!"
"Eternal Evolution!"
The crowd erupted in fanatic cheers.
"Azazel."
After explaining his vision, Lancelot turned to Azazel.
"I obey, my King."
Azazel performed an ancient salute. Crimson mist surged forth.
Boom.
The red fog engulfed Deva Path Pain—and both vanished from the Mutant Evolution House.
In outer space, beyond Earth's atmosphere, countless satellites orbited silently.
In the endless darkness, a mass of red mist burst from the void—then dissipated, leaving a lone figure behind.
"So this is outer space… the true cosmic void."
Deva Path Pain floated beyond Earth.
The vacuum had no effect on his corpse-like body.
Weightless, silent, infinite.
"Repulsion."
Disgust surged through Pain's Rinnegan eyes.
Instantly, his body stabilized.
A repulsive force formed a barrier around him, pushing away cosmic radiation.
Gravity and repulsion—
the fundamental forces governing planetary motion.
Boom.
Repulsion erupted.
Pain shot toward the Moon at terrifying speed, far exceeding escape velocity, accelerating endlessly through the void.
Earth rapidly shrank behind him.
After one full day, Pain reached the Moon and descended gently onto its surface.
"…One day," Pain muttered.
"Still far slower than Captain Marvel."
After her awakening, Captain Marvel could travel faster than light.
Yet Lancelot needed an entire day.
The distance between his true body and Pain had weakened the Rinnegan's power transfer.
Floating once more, Pain crossed to the far side of the Moon—a land of eternal darkness.
Lancelot frowned.
Too dark.
Unacceptable.
"I'll build one myself."
Pain rose into the cosmic void and extended his right hand.
"Super Almighty Sky Pull."
Beyond Mars, the asteroid belt trembled.
An unimaginable gravitational force seized countless meteors—
dragging them toward the Moon.
