March 1974.
The Stark World Industrial Expo opened in San Francisco with unparalleled grandeur.
As chairman of Evolution Glory Biotech, Lancelot received a formal invitation to attend.
During the expo, Howard Stark proudly announced that his Arc Reactor had been completed and was now powering the Stark Industries Tower.
Countless journalists swarmed the site, and for weeks, this breakthrough dominated global headlines.
April 1974.
One month later, Evolution Glory Biotech unveiled a "dated" Bio-Enhancement Serum developed by the Mutant Evolution House.
Although it could push human physiology to its absolute limits, the serum also amplified arrogance, irritability, and aggression.
For the Mutant Evolution House, it was outdated, but to the world, it became an instant sensation.
Howard Stark's limelight lasted only a month—soon eclipsed by Lancelot's Evolution Glory Company, as the U.S. military, under General Ross, purchased the serum for one billion dollars.
May 1974.
A four-year-old Tony Stark built his first circuit board, earning the moniker "Genius Stark."
June 1974.
Future Tony Stark's wife, Pepper Potts, was born.
July 1974.
Lancelot underwent his fourth awakening, embedding Future Mutant Blink Spatial Portals into his own body.
By now, Lancelot possessed a collection of godlike abilities:
Geass, Reincarnation Eye, Future Eye, Shaka Eye,
energy absorption and control from Black Emperor Xiao,
Wolverine Logan's self-healing through vision factors,
Captain America's 8x Super Soldier body,
teleportation via Red Demon Azazo, and now,
the newly integrated Mutant Blink Spatial Portals.
It was time to establish a space-time portal in the Evolution House.
Lancelot stood atop X Tower, Evolution Glory Biotech's pinnacle skyscraper in New York City, overlooking the sprawling metropolis.
Opposite him loomed the Stark Industries Tower.
Compared to years prior, it had grown taller, crowned with a colossal Arc Reactor, emitting a radiant blue glow and producing an unfathomable amount of energy.
According to Howard Stark's calculations, the reactor could sustain itself for hundreds of years.
"Arc Reactor… interesting. A Soviet scientist named Anthony Vanko also participated in its construction," Lancelot murmured, extending his right hand.
Behind him, a brilliant spatial portal slowly opened.
Simultaneously, at the Siberian Mutant Evolution House, a blue space gate activated.
All mutants froze mid-task.
Lancelot stepped through the portal. Thousands of kilometers vanished in an instant.
Even Red Demon Azazo's teleportation was nowhere near this convenience.
"My King," muttered the gathered mutants as Lancelot appeared before them.
"Bring Dr. Leonard," Lancelot commanded.
Immediately, Emma Frost pressed her hand to her temple, extending her psychic reach across the Evolution House.
"Dr. Leonard, come."
Her voice penetrated his mind.
"Yes, Miss Emma," Leonard replied, now transformed into a dashing middle-aged gentleman.
Thanks to the Evolution House's mastery over aging, combined with saber-toothed Victor and Wolverine Logan's healing factor, he had perfected a serum capable of slowing aging—the Elixir of Immortality.
Any subject injected could live for at least 200 more years.
The entire Evolution House, human and mutant alike, had received the serum. Their lifespans now exceeded all known human limits.
Leonard raised his right hand and tapped his bracelet.
His body trembled—and hundreds of copies of Leonard replicated, each identical to him.
He had essentially become an entire research team in one body.
"Activate the teleport module."
The copies dispersed throughout the lab, initiating the Mutant Sleep Conversion System.
A red mist enveloped Leonard, and he vanished from the laboratory.
Moments later, he reappeared before Lancelot through a swirling red fog.
"Long live my King!" Leonard saluted, awaiting instructions.
"Prepare a sealed lab capable of resisting cosmic radiation," Lancelot commanded.
At the same time, his right hand swept outward.
One by one, brilliant blue portals appeared throughout the Evolution Base, connecting living quarters to core laboratories, almost spanning the entire complex.
In the living area, young mutants gawked at the enormous portals.
One stretched his neck like a snake, poking his head into the shimmering doorway.
Hum.
As a mutant peered through any portal, their head appeared across multiple angles, producing a mesmerizing effect.
"Awesome! I can see the entire Evolution House!"
The mutant shouted, thrilled.
The portals folded the space within, revealing a cube-like labyrinth of corridors and labs.
Ping.
Suddenly, the portal shifted horizontally by a meter, swallowing the young mutant entirely.
Lancelot observed calmly.
"Vicki, how do you feel?" he asked, glancing at the soft, limp young mutant sprawled on the floor.
"Long live my King!"
Vicki's body surged with energy, twisting like a serpent as she rose.
"Through the portals, I can appear anywhere in the Evolution House!"
Lancelot nodded with satisfaction.
"Excellent. From now on, the Mutant Evolution House officially enters the Space-Jump Era.
No distance in space can restrict us."
By August 1974, mutants had embraced a new age:
the era of spatial jumping,
where the bounds of distance could no longer confine evolution.
