"Okay," Ryan finally said. "I'm ready."
Liam turned back, and for a second, the words he was about to say stopped in his throat
He had always thought Ryan was attractive, it was an objective fact even in his MingMing-labelled and coffee-stained apron. But tonight, he looked breathtakingly ethereal... and he clearly put in the effort.
His natural curls were styled loose and more defined, framing his delicate face and his outfit was minimal yet clean and intentional, fitting him perfectly. As Ryan stepped closer, a soft rosy scent of perfume filled the air, it was subtle but noticeable.
He looks incredible.
The thought hit Liam before he could brush it off.
Ryan, meanwhile, was busy scanning Liam's own choice of clothes, a look of recognition crossing his face... a familiarity reminding him of the first day they met.
Back then, it was a strange combination of street wear under a lab coat, the gum, the headphone and the ponytail.
