Chapter 7 - Chapter 5

The goblin village was tense. Word had come that a wolf pack, notorious for terrorizing nearby villages, was approaching their territory.

Shiro, standing proudly in his 3-tailed kitsune form, flicked his tails as he surveyed the area. "Big brother… we need to fortify the defenses. If the wolves get inside, the goblins will suffer."

Rimuru, floating nearby as a calm but efficient slime, nodded. "Understood. I'll also prepare for the injured. Some of them may not make it through the fight otherwise."

Healing the Injured

Rimuru entered the goblin barracks, where several injured goblins lay on crude beds. He created a healing potion, his slime body glowing faintly as he poured it over each goblin.

"Drink this," Rimuru instructed. "It will heal your wounds quickly."

The goblins' eyes widened as their injuries closed almost instantly. Wounds vanished, broken bones mended, and fatigue fled their bodies.

One goblin whispered in awe, "Lord Rimuru… your power… it's miraculous…"

Rimuru chuckled softly. "Just focus on surviving. That's all that matters."

Fortifying the Fortress

Shiro, with his keen senses and elemental mastery, ran to the walls. He manipulated stone and wood, creating reinforced barriers that glimmered faintly with magicule.

"Big brother," he called to Rimuru, "this should hold the wolves long enough for us to respond if they attack."

Rimuru's slime form vibrated approvingly. "Perfect. That's my little brother—always thinking ahead."

The Wolf Pack Arrives

As the sun dipped low, the howl of wolves echoed across the valley. The pack, led by a massive alpha wolf, approached the goblin fortress.

Shiro's tails flicked in anticipation. "Big brother… stay back. Let me observe first."

Rimuru, however, floated forward. "No, this is my fight. Watch me."

The alpha wolf snarled, its fur bristling with aggression. The goblins cowered behind the fortifications.

Rimuru's Battle

Rimuru's slime body expanded as he surged toward the alpha. The wolf lunged, teeth bared, but Rimuru was faster than the eye could follow.

With a swift strike, Rimuru killed the alpha wolf, its body collapsing to the ground. The other wolves hesitated, their howls filled with confusion.

Rimuru, without hesitation, devoured the dead alpha wolf, absorbing its strength, instincts, and authority over the pack.

Shiro tilted his head, impressed. "Wow… that's efficient. But… you really ate it?"

Rimuru's slime body shimmered. "It's necessary. Now… let's see if this works."

The Wolves Surrender

Rimuru mimicked the alpha wolf's form and aura, projecting dominance over the remaining pack. The wolves, sensing the authority of their former leader, immediately surrendered.

Shiro's tails flicked in approval. "Impressive, big brother… you didn't even have to fight all of them."

Rimuru smiled, his blue slime body vibrating slightly. "Sometimes, strategy matters more than brute force."

The goblins cheered from behind the walls, bowing deeply. "Lord Rimuru! Lord Shiromaru! You have saved us again!"

Shiro nudged Rimuru playfully. "See? I told you—planning ahead and protecting the tribe works best with teamwork."

Rimuru laughed—a bubbly, gurgling sound. "Heh… yes, yes. You're learning fast, little brother."

And so, the goblin fortress stood strong, the wolf pack tamed, and the bond between Rimuru and Shiromaru Tempest grew even stronger.
