The sun shone brightly over the village that Rimuru and Shiro had been developing. The goblin tribe, the surrendered wolf pack, and their newly evolved allies were all bustling with activity.
Rimuru's slime body floated up slightly. "Rigurd, call everyone. It's time to gather."
Rigurd, the muscular hobgoblin, bellowed in his deep voice, sending a clear message throughout the village. Soon, everyone began to gather in the central area, from the goblins and wolves to hobgoblins and other new allies.
Familiar and New Faces
Rimuru scanned the crowd. Many faces were unfamiliar, but he recognized a few:
Rigurd, the strong hobgoblin, and his son Rigur
Gobta, the lively goblin scout
Others who had evolved since the naming ceremony
Next to Shiro stood Haruna, the goblin girl Shiro had saved during the wolf attack. She gave a polite bow and greeted Rimuru.
"Good morning, Lord Rimuru," she said softly.
Rimuru's slime body wobbled slightly. He noticed her pretty, revealing dress, the sunlight highlighting her cheerful demeanor. Shiro nudged her slightly and introduced her.
"This is Haruna," Shiro said calmly. "She's helpful and smart. Treat her well."
Haruna blushed and gave a small nod.
Behind them, the shelters Shiro had helped construct were already taking shape, wooden beams and crude stone walls forming a sturdy foundation.
Rimuru's Rules for the Village
Rimuru's voice boomed over the crowd. "Everyone, listen carefully. From today forward, there are three rules you must all follow in this village."
The villagers, from goblins to wolves and hobgoblins, nodded attentively.
Rule 1: "Never attack each other unless absolutely necessary. Protect the weak."
Rule 2: "Obey the leaders of this village—Rimuru Tempest, Shiromaru Tempest, and the elders appointed by them."
Rule 3: "Always work to make this village stronger and safer for everyone. Train, gather resources, and improve the village constantly."
The villagers murmured in agreement. The wolf pack lowered their heads respectfully, and the goblins exchanged approving glances.
Rimuru continued, explaining each rule:
"Rule one ensures that everyone stays safe and that no conflicts weaken the village."
"Rule two maintains order and gives everyone clear guidance on leadership."
"Rule three is essential—if we all work together, the village will grow strong enough to withstand any threat."
Shiro flicked his tails and nodded approvingly. "Simple, clear, and effective. Everyone here can follow that."
Haruna looked at Shiro with admiration, and even the wolf pack seemed to respect the structure being established.
Rimuru's slime body vibrated slightly. "Good. From now on, this village will be organized, safe, and ready for anything. With everyone working together, there's nothing we can't achieve."
Shiro smirked, his three tails swaying behind him. "Exactly. And with my guidance, they'll become even stronger than before."
The brothers exchanged a small glance, a silent agreement passing between them: they would protect this village, its people, and each other, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
