Author's POV
The day has arrived where the invisible string that has been tying two people together is going to make them cross path today, two souls completely unaware of how their journey is going change .
It was the evening before the opening day of their college, the place was fully buzzing with students and their parents dropping them off and setting up their dorm, it was bittersweet moment all around.
Jay's POV:
I am standing in front of my huge dorm building where I am going to spend next few years and to be honest I am really excited because this gate is my gate of freedom and I look around people dropping off their kids and helping them and it kind of aches my heart a little but I rather be alone than with my parents yelling at every move I make, but I will be honest with it is hard carrying all the luggage all at once
I hope I can bring them all at once but just as I was thinking that I slipped and was about to fall on my back , but someone caught me and boxes and I open my eyes to see a man holding me and muttering "careful"
I move and stand on my own and I apologize to him, "I am sorry and also thank you."
and he gives me a smile and says cheerfully "No, Problem but you should be careful , if you carry them all together you will definitely fall, Let me help you "
I try to deny his help by saying, "Its okay, I can manage " but he gets the box and carries them forward and helps me to the dorm. I thank him once again and he just smiled and left. And I thought Maybe people around here are nice and not like the ones in house.
After that I start unpacking, the dorm is still empty and I am the first person to occupy and I just pray to God to give me nice roomates because I have to share the space with them.
KIEFER's POV:
The day started out really good because my Dad and I were jamming our favourite song on our way to drop me off , I know I am too old to be dropped off by my parents but what can I say my parents are really cool and I like spending time with them, and we have our lunch at our favourite restaurant while my parents gave me tips and advice for my new journey and after being done we continued our journey and we reached there by eve.
I hug my parents and send them off and my dad gave one last piece of advise , "Keif, I know you are excited to start this new journey and all I want to say have fun and at the same make sure you are focused and make sure never to hurt anyone"
"Yes, Dad" and they left.
That when I notice a girl struggling with her luggage and just when I was about to ask whether she need help, she almost slipped, thank god my reflex worked and I caught her, that's when I saw her face, she is really pretty, I thought and a smile formed in my face and after that I helped her with the Luggage and left her at the dorm gate, she thanked me and the she left, I see her disappearing figure and smile, I think to myself that maybe I have a crush even before the college began but that's when I realize I forgot to ask her name , I hit myself in the forehead and make my way back to the dorm and also hoping, if I could see and get to know her again.
