Jay's POV
After unpacking and setting everything up, I went to refresh in the bathroom and when I came back I heard the knock on the door and I thought it must be one of my roommates and I went to open the door
I opened the door to see a beautiful woman and I helped her with her bags after which she introduced herself.
"Hi, I am Sara and you are? "she said" Hello, I am Jay and I will be one of your roommates" I said and smiled at her
" I hope we get along well since we are going to share this dorm" she said
To which I replied " Yeah, I hope so too, which major are you taking?"
" I am majoring in Business management and you?" She asked
" I have also taken the same major" I said
To which she smiled and hugged me and said " I have a feeling that we are going to be good friends" to which I smiled
That's when we heard a knock and we opened it was our last roommate, and both of us helped her to settle in and after that she introduced herself " I am Mica" and then all of us started talking and it turns out all of us are in the same class. We talked till midnightand went to sleep because our classes are starting tomorrow, but I really enjoyed talking with them, our vibes really matched, so I thanked God for these roommates and went to sleep.
Kiefer's POV
I entered my dorm only to realise I am the last roommate and I went in and the boys introduced themselves "I am David and this is Calix" and I also introduced myself.
After refreshing all of us settled down and started talking and it was nice and all of us are in the same class which is a bonus point.
Then we retire to sleep, but I have a smile on my face thinking about the girl and also hoping to see her again.
Jay's POV
The next day, We got up quickly and got ready for our first day, honestly I was a little excited for the new beginning and the memories that I get to make with these people.The Campus has been buzzing because it is the opening day.
Sara pulled us to class and asked us to wait because she wanted to introduce us to someone, A tall guy came and wrapped his hand around Sara and introduced himself as her boyfriend David and behind him there were 2 more boys , who came front That's
when I noticed one of them was the same guy who helped me yesterday, and we both smiled at each other knowingly
Thats when Sara:" Do you guys know each other?"
"No" I replied and
He said " Yes" at the same time,
Now all of them are looking confused, that's when I say," We have met but we don't know each other"
"Ohhh" they all said at the same time.
"By the way my name is Kiefer" he said with a charming smile,
To which I replied " I am Jay " that's when I noticed his eyes, there was something so pleasant about them but I quickly broke the eye contact and then Calix and Mica also introduced themselves and
Sara said "Okayy, I think all of us will make great friends groups. And We should just sit together.Everyone agreed"
We sat in two rows, the girls in the front one and the boys in the back, David sat behind Sara, Calix sat behind Mica and Kiefer sat behind me.
Kiefer's POV:
After getting ready, we went together for our class that's when David said he wanted to introduce us to his girlfriend who is also in the same class, we were waiting when they finally arrived , I did not notice at first, but when they introduced us,I was shocked and happy at the same time because my crush is one of her friends and I got to know her name is Jay, such a cute name I thought to myself.
Then we settled in the class and I sat behind her and I was noticing how cute she was and then the class started and it was mostly introductory sections and I kept glancing at her once in a while am honestly I was really happy because, I really wanted to see her again after yesterday and now she is sitting in front me.
Our classes got over , David and Sara decided that we have to go out today to celebrate our first day, and we all agreed and we went and I was just looking for opportunity to talk to jay and when we finally reached the place every one settled around and I sat across from her and everyone started eating and after that everyone wanted to do a bunch of different things and honestly I would have said yes to anything, but that's when the plot twist came she said she wanted to go back to the dorm because she is tired at first everyone argued but eventually she got her way out and I pulled a shocker by saying I also wanted to go back, so it would just be the two of us.
I was really happy that I was walking with my crush in the moonlight , I mean it is a perfect setting, I looked at her face and I started talking
K: Do you feel uncomfortable walking alone with me?
Jay just chuckled and said: No, If I were,I wouldn't have agreed and I would have just left alone, since you helped me yesterday I thought you were a nice guy.
K: so you thought about me? I asked with a smirk
J: what , No! I just Nevermind
I laughed and said : It's okayyy
J: you know what you are so full of yourself.
K : wha- before I could reply my phone rang and I picked up to see it was my dad, I picked up phone and updated my dad and we had good talk and I returned back to my conversation, that's when I noticed her staring at me
K : are you okay?
J: Do you always talk to your parents this easily and happily? She asked with a longing eyesSomething about it made me feel a little sad
K:yeah, I mean they are the best people in the world I know and also they are more like my friends than parents. Why don't you talk to parents?
She chuckled again but this was a sad one and said: I do but it is most likely for me to report rather than actually having a conversation.
And I looked at her she did not show any expression but deep down I think I knew she was sad
And by the time we realised we reached our dorm and she said good night and was about to leave when I held her hand and she just turned and looked me in my eye and I just said
" Then maybe you can talk to me whenever you want"
