They found refuge in an old amusement park.
Colorful rides rusted under the moonlight. Carousel horses stared blankly, their paint peeling. Ferris wheel unmoving like a skeleton.
"Creepy place," Eko muttered.
Lolly smiled. "I used to love parks."
Geo quietly said, "We'll stay for the night."
While Eko fixed barricades, Geo approached Lolly.
"You care about him."
Lolly froze. "I care about both of you."
Geo looked away. "I need you to be honest. With yourself."
She didn't respond.
Later that night, Lolly sat beside Eko by a broken carousel.
"Your arm…"
"It's fine."
"I don't believe you."
He sighed. "Lolly… if something ever happens—"
She hugged him suddenly.
"Don't say that."
Eko hugged her back.
But in the shadows, Geo watched.
And his expression broke.
