I woke up to the loud buzz of my alarm clock. I groaned and reach out to shut it off, I missed. The alarn clock fell, broke and kept buzzing until it died a sad electrical death.
"Good morning to me." I muttered.
I dragged myself to the bathroom, slipped on a banana, and hit the wall.
"Huh? Am I dead?" I whispered holding the back of my head. I brushed my teeth, ate a cheap sandwich, and left my apartment feeling half-dead. The sky looked clam. For one second, I felt hopeful.
The a car splashed dirty water all over me. I just stood there dripping. "I deserved this..."
At work everything sucked as usual. Same stress, same yelling bosses, same stupid task. I barely made enough money to survive. But I endured, I alwasy endured.

It was late when I finally left the office. I had to fix the intern's mistakes, and my boss dumped the blame on me, of course.
Walking home felt like dragging a corpse. My phone buzzed.

I satred at the message with dead eyes. "Life hates me..."
I didn't notice the red light, I didn't notice the loud truck engine, I only heard the horn at the last second. "Oh shi-"

I lifted the other paw. Something behind me swished. I turned and saw a tail. A cat tail.
I slowly leaned over a puddle. A small black cat with a golden eyes stared back.
'I died, like for real??' I whispered.
The Cat in the reflection looked depressed. 'And I reincarnated..'
Even more depressed. 'As a cat...."
I dropped onto the ground. 'THIS MUST BE A JOKE RIGHT? CAUSE IF NOT THIS IS NOT A FUN ONE!'
I started running around in small circles.

I tripped on my tail and rolled on the grass.
