The smoke clears and Arthur lies there bleeding. Mia rushes towards him tearing a piece of cloth and wrapping it around his arm. "We're going to get out of here and I'll get you some help". Arthur looks to be dying and is losing blood. "Can you hear me" she shouts.
Arthur is looking at the system notification behind her head starts to lose consciousness. More EVO come in and go towards them. "Stabilize his wound and we'll check if more need treatment" says the team leader. "Mia we'll talk after you get checked up" he says as well.

While they check on all the other team members, they shake their heads at the new team lead. "Understood" "Bring them out and let's get moving".
"Stay with me Arthur" says Mia. As she can see him barely keeping his eyes open. "So he was able to call for help" was the last thought he had before going unconscious.
Several hours later, Arthur starts to slowly regain consciousness and hears voices around him "Yes" "We were able to save his limb in time" says the doctor. Arthur feels both arms and starts to wiggle his finger tips. As his Mom speaks to the doctor. "Shush he's waking up" says a nurse. The doctor walks up to Arthur and asks "How you doing?". "Water" he says softly as his throat is dry.
He gets fed some water by his mother and says "Better". They give him a check up and see all the vitals within range and ask him to move his fingers, "Can you wiggle your fingers for me?" he gets asked and does it. "Good." "Now can you ball your hand into a fist?".
Arthur tries but can't. "Ok thank you" he says. "Is that a bad thing?" his worried mother asks, but she gets reassured by the doctor "No it's just that it's too early to tell at the moment". "As he can already feel and move his fingers then all he needs to do now is recover". "Thank you doctor" she says with a sigh of relief.
The doctor and nurses leave them and the room goes silent. Neither of them speak for several minutes and Arthur opens up with "I'm sorry Mom" with a soft voice. She doesn't reply immediately but soon after holds his hand gently saying "You're alive and that's all that matters right now" she says with a smile.
Hours later, Arthur is asleep and slowly starts to wake up. "You're awake" a voice says as they are seated right next to him. Slit like eyes and black hair with a wolf cut style. He sits there in a suit. Arthur looks around confused and startled asking "How can I help you?". He just continues to stare at him and then answers "I'm the vice guild master of Raiders". Arthur thinks to himself "HE'S THOMAS DUNBLADE". "Psychotic motherfucker". "I'm Thomas Dunblade and I'm here to thank you for saving a member of our guild". "I only did what I could" replies Arthur.
"Well doing that helped us out, so thank you". "Well, I'll leave you to your rest". He walks out of the room and right before he does he asks one last question "Both the boss cores seem to be missing, Do you have any idea what happened to them?". "No I don't" he replies. Thomas leaves.
Arthur waits a good 10 minutes before doing anything. Then he let's go a big sigh of relief. "From my acting right now and earlier". "They should give me a BAFTA".
Flashback to after the battle.
"It would be so much more easier if I could just stop the bleeding, but she won't leave me". As Mia stands over him trying to stop the bleeding, Arthur recycling the same blood that is gushing out through his blood and it is tiring him out. "I'll take that" he thinks to himself as he takes both the general's mana core and the kings and stores it in his inventory.
Back to recent.
"That was hard work" he thinks to himself and smiles like a greedy pig as he thinks about how much money he is going to get for there mana cores.

"ALWAYS INCREASE SKILL PROFICIENCY" as he pulls on his hair in anger. "Well, I got a new power so who I am to complain". Arthur looks at his other skills and remembers a skill from eye of Odin and says "Let's try this one out though".
He closes his eyes and without opening them tries to sense the feeling of sixth sense first. He stays like that for a while and trying to unlock his third eye, but it doesn't work. "How the hell do you use this stinking skill". Arthur tries different ways, changing his breathing, keeping his eyes open, but none of them seem to work.
He gets frustrated and just uses eye of Odin and tries again keeping his eyes open and he feels a weird sensation, like he could feel everything around him even though he couldn't directly see it. He sees other patients in other rooms. Not just where they are but everything down to their heart rate, movement and all everything going on in their vicinity.

He looks closer and asks "Is that a mana core?" Confused as to why a human has one, he looks around an sees other EVO with the same ones and comes to the conclusion that is how they use mana.
