When Nick saw that the captain's face had changed, he raised his hand to signal the other side to do nothing.

Steve Rogers remained silent, waiting for an explanation, but the other only picked up a cell phone, tapped a few times, and then showed it to him.
On the phone it was written: ears everywhere.
But Nick Fury's mouth said something else, so as not to alert the enemy in the dark.
"I'm sorry I had to do this, but I had nowhere else to stay."
Then he showed another text on the phone that said: SHIELD compromised.
Steve was a smart man and asked without raising suspicion, trying to get more information about the situation:
"Who else knows about your wife?"
This time, Nick Fury stood up from the armchair while showing another message on the phone: You and me!
And, just like before, he said:
"Only…" — he paused because of the pain in his body and continued — "My friends!"
"Is that what we are?" Steve asked in a serious tone.
Nick Fury looked into Steve Rogers' eyes for a moment before saying:
"That depends on you…"
But in the next moment… Boom!
A bullet pierced through the wall and hit Nick Fury in the back; he screamed in pain.
Neither Nick Fury nor Steve Rogers expected this sudden situation, and before they could react, two more bullets pierced the wall and hit Nick Fury again, making him fall to the ground, groaning in pain.
Steve crouched down and looked out the window, seeing the shadow of the enemy on the other side of the building.
He knew his position was unfavorable; he grabbed Nick Fury's arm and dragged him to a less exposed area.
After dragging Nick Fury to a blind spot from the enemy, he was about to give chase when his hand was grabbed.
Looking at Nick Fury, who held his hand, he waited because the other must have wanted to say something.
But as soon as the other's hand let go, he was holding a silver flash drive identical to the one given to Nathan to keep.
Steve took the flash drive and looked at Nick Fury, and the other only said with difficulty:
"Trust no one!"
While the events of Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier unfolded, on the other side Nathan was playing PS5, the new game God of War: Ragnarok.
As he enjoyed playing, a dimensional portal opened behind him and Dark Doctor Strange stepped out of it.
His face was tired and worn; he looked at Nathan, who didn't even pay attention to him, and said:
"Mr. Paradox, please, save Christine!"
Nathan had already noticed the intruder's arrival, but with his strength, who could threaten him?
But when he heard the other's words, he paused the game and looked at the figure kneeling like someone who had made a mistake.
His eyes were full of despair and helplessness.
Nathan knew him, but had never had contact before; he didn't expect the other to come after him.
And, looking at the state of the portal behind him, this Doctor Strange had already destroyed his universe completely.
Doctor Strange looked at the young man in front of him, who stared back without saying anything and was about to open his mouth to speak again, when the other's voice came:
"Let me guess, it was the Watcher who sent you to me!?"
Strange was surprised because the other guessed correctly; at first, he was doubtful because the man in front of him seemed ordinary.
He didn't feel any trace of energy in the other, but since the Watcher said this man could help him, he placed his hopes in that and believed blindly.
"Sir, he said you are not from this universe and your power is unfathomable and you can help me... No matter what price I have to pay, just save Christine!" Doctor Strange begged once again.
Nathan thought for a moment before replying:
"Alright, you can go back now!"
Leaving those words, he turned away, ignoring Dark Doctor Strange, and went back to playing his game.
Dark Doctor Strange was confused and looked at Nathan, waiting for the other to take action.
But after waiting for a while, Nathan just stayed there playing his game.
When he was about to open his mouth to question the other, the Watcher's voice echoed in his ears:
"Your universe has already been saved and your Christine is fine, go back!"
Dark Doctor Strange was confused, not understanding the situation, when he looked at the portal that was still open behind him.
The scene on the other side of the portal had changed; it was the same place of the accident, but Christine was still lying on the ground and her chest was rising and falling, a sign that she was still alive.
He rushed to embrace his beloved who was still alive, and Nathan, who saw this, just waved his hand and the portal closed.
After that, Nathan spent the night playing, unaware that things were about to change.
