Odin looked at his brothers and noticed that Athena alone showed no sign of curiosity or surprise on her face. At that moment, he realized that she already knew what he intended to say. But he did not care and continued speaking; his goal was not to annoy Athena or Poseidon in particular, but simply to put an end to Hades's arrogance.
So he said:
"My daughters possess strong prophetic and spiritual abilities… and I believe that in the future they may even surpass me myself in prophetic power."
All his brothers looked at him with clear astonishment, even Athena herself.
She knew that Odin's three daughters already possessed prophetic abilities, but she had never imagined that their talent could surpass that of their father Odin himself.
Athena spoke seriously:
"Are you sure of this, Odin? If that is true, they will indeed become a great power for Asgard, and a winning card for us."
As soon as Athena spoke and explained her point of view, the feelings of jealousy that had begun to form within both Hades and Poseidon faded away.
They thought about it for a moment and realized the importance of the abilities that the three twins might awaken, and the great impact they could have on Asgard. With that realization, they completely forgot the jealousy that had nearly taken root within them.
Hades spoke before Odin could answer Athena's question, saying seriously:
"If the three twins truly possess these potentials, then we must train them well, my brothers, and take care of them. Not just anyone can awaken strong prophetic abilities… this type of power is extremely rare in this world."
Odin looked at his brothers and at their serious discussion and genuine interest in his daughters' abilities and potential. At that moment, he felt embarrassed and ashamed of his earlier thoughts of provoking Hades with this matter.
He had expected that when Hades heard about his daughters' abilities, signs of jealousy would appear on his face and that he would stop boasting about awakening his daughter's power. But he had never imagined that the opposite would happen entirely, and that none of his brothers would show jealousy—on the contrary, their expressions were filled with joy and happiness at this news.
So Odin spoke quickly to hide the embarrassment he felt and said:
"Let us discuss this matter at a later time… and let us focus now on the little girl first, so that no mistake occurs."
As soon as Odin said that, his brothers stopped talking, looked at one another briefly, then nodded their heads in agreement. They continued to closely watch Hades's eldest daughter, ready to intervene if she needed any help.
Far away from Hades's armory, Odin's three daughters were looking at Poseidon's eldest son, who was moving a little away from them.
As soon as they saw him, they smiled, raised their chins high, and began walking with slow, strange steps, carrying a clear sense of arrogance.
That walk caused Poseidon's son to stop what he was doing. He paused, looked at the three girls in surprise at what he saw, then walked toward them and said:
"What's wrong with you, twins? Are you feeling sick? What's with that walk?"
As soon as the three twins heard what the boy said, they stopped walking and turned toward him with looks full of hatred. Then they spoke in one sharp voice:
"How dare you, you foolish commoner, speak to us in this manner? Do you know who you are talking to?"
Poseidon's son was greatly surprised by what the twins said and froze in place for a moment. Before he could respond, the voice of another boy who was standing nearby rang out:
"What is with this tone, twins? What's wrong? And why all this arrogance?"
The three girls, as well as Poseidon's son, turned toward the source of the voice and saw Hades's sixth son.
He was carrying a heavy box and walking with it, but as soon as he heard the twins' arrogant tone, his curiosity was stirred. He stopped walking, set down the box he was carrying, and intervened in the conversation.
The three twins looked at him briefly, then each of them raised her head arrogantly, and their voices became even more conceited than before:
"People like you should bow when speaking to us, you commoner. We are no longer on the same level… not even in the same class. Do you understand?"
As soon as they said that, Hades's sixth son and Poseidon's eldest son looked at each other with some strangeness at what they had heard.
But strangely enough, they did not get angry, nor did they respond to the insult. On the contrary, their curiosity only grew stronger.
Hades's sixth son bowed slightly toward the twins and said in a calm tone that carried a light sarcasm masked by respect:
"And may I know what is happening, ladies of such high status?"
When Poseidon's son saw what Hades's sixth son did, he smiled inwardly and silently encouraged him, admiring his intelligence and his skillful handling of the situation and his perfect act.
As for the three twins, they were slightly surprised by what this boy did; they had not expected him to behave this way. But after a few moments, a smile formed on their faces, for the bow of Hades's sixth son caused the arrogance forming within them to grow even more.
So they spoke together, in the same haughty tone:
"Well done, boy. It seems you are intelligent. And since you possess this amount of intelligence, we will tell you something important… so listen carefully."
As soon as Hades's sixth son and Poseidon's son heard that, they focused their gazes on the three twins with clear interest, waiting to hear what they would say.
Indeed, the three girls spoke when they saw those eager eyes waiting for the news:
"We possess strong prophetic and spiritual powers. And when we awaken these powers and merge our souls with them, we will then be able to speak to Asgard himself."
They paused for a moment, then continued in an even more arrogant tone:
"Do you now understand why you should kneel before us, you commoners?"
As soon as the twins finished speaking, both Poseidon's son and Hades's sixth son were shocked by what they heard.
But before they could respond, an angry voice thundered from afar, shouting forcefully:
"So you are here, you three twins! I will not let you escape what you have done!"
