It was on Saturday evening, Sofy went out for a run then stopped by to get pizza as usual, she collected the pizza and as she was about leaving the place, Max held her from behind as she stooped on her footsteps as they both walked outside together
" Hey" Sofy said with a quick smile as Maxine's heart melted with joy
" Can I walk you home" Max asked
" ehrr, for someone else I'd say no but sure" Sofy replied with a smile again
" why do you like smiling" Max asked as his cute smile made Sofy laughed
" Ehrr, I have no answer to that, literally it's just my thing" Sofy replied as she continued smiling
" Nice, really nice" Max said with a smile, he felt save and easy while he was around Sofy, she has a way of melting his heart, comforting his soul, and occupying his thoughts
" Why do I always run into you anytime I come here, do you live around here or something" Sofy asked
" Well I like coming here" Max replied
"I thought you said your favorite place was the coffee shop?" Sofy Said
" yeah, coffee shop and pizza shop" Max replied
" hmm okayy" Sofy said
" Esmeralda is hosting a pool party tomorrow, will you come ?" Max asked
" Do I know her" Sofy asked
" I'm not sure, check our class platform you'll get the info for the party" Max replied
" okay I'll come, thanks for walking me home" Sofy said with a smile
" no problem I'll see you tomorrow right" Max asked
" yeah" Sofy said as Max stretched his hands for a hug then pulled Sofy into his arms then pecked her forehead leaving bye

Sofy walked straight to her room as she quickly folded herself on the bed covering her body with a duvie, smiling continuously, the hug and kiss kept drifting through her thoughts, she couldn't wait to see him again, she actually enjoys his company. She brought out her dairy then took down
" Dear diary,
I finally get to categorize my relationship between Max and Melvin, I think I love Melvin as my friend and as for Max i don't know what I love him as, he really makes me happy, Melvin makes me happy too but I'm really confused, I agree I don't know what I want, maybe I should go visit a counselor"

The party....
Sofy arrived at Depouse street then followed the direction to Esme's house and got to the gate looking dumbfounded as a dark pretty girl who looked familiar walked up to her and said
" Hey Sofy" she said
" Hey, you're Esmeralda right" Sofy asked
" Yes" She muttered
" thought I got the wrong address" Sofy giggled
" I didn't think you'd come" Esme said
" Yeah, Max invited me" Sofy replied with a smile
"you're welcome please enjoy yourself" Esme laughed slightly as she watched Sofy entered the house with a "thanks"
As soon as Sofy approached the pool side, Max walked up to her and said
" Sofy, you made it"
" Yeah…, and Esmeralda was really nice" Sofy replied
" Yeah she's cool, so how are you enjoying the party" Max asked
" ehrrr I just got here so….." Sofy said
" don't you wanna swim" Max asked
" Nah, I don't know how to swim" Sofy replied
" ehrrr okay fine…." Max was saying and as he was about to utter another word Sofy cut him off
" Is Melvin here" she asked as his mood changed slowly 'does she have to bring Melvin into our only decent conversation'
" Yeah he's at the pool side" Max replied slowly
" okay cool lemme go and find him" Sofy said as Max gently followed behind her to the pool side
" Hey Max" Capri said
" what's up" Max said looking at a specific direction
" what are you looking at" Capri said as she stretched to look at the direction he was facing " Why are you looking at Sofy" Capri asked
" Ehrr…." Max was saying when his attention was caught by Sofy screaming " stop it I can't swim" as some guys carried her and threw her into the water, Max hurriedly jumped in to save her
• Did she drown…..?
• How could she come to a pool party when she can't even swim
•Gosh today's just full of surprises
• I pray she doesn't die
• Someone should please get ESMERALDA!!!!!
Some people at the pool side blabbed…..

Max saved Sofy and Esmeralda's maid took care of the situation, luckily the pool was only 5 feet deep so she didn't die and Max got there on time to save her.
Inside one of the rooms…..
Sofy was sitted on the bed with Max on her side, it seems everyone had gone home it was just Max that stayed
" Thanks for saving me" Sofy muttered slowly
" it's fine, I'm glad nothing happened to you" Max replied as Sofy nodded with a smile
" Just let me catch those guys that threw you into the pool, I'll so much deal with them" Max added
" Just forget it I'm fine now" Sofy replied
" Should I take you home" Max asked
" Where's my phone, I'll just call my driver" Sofy replied
" Your phone fell with you, it's with Esme now" Max replied
" Thank God my phone is water resistance" Sofy said with a sigh of relief, her heart skipped for a moment she thought her phone had gone missing
" please let me take you home" Max said
" okay, but I need to apologize for ruining Esme's party" Sofy said as they walked to the living room where Esme was resting ,Sofy watched for a while before uttering "Esme"
" oh Sofy how are you feeling" Esme asked
" I'm good, sorry for ruining your party" Sofy said
" it's fine, I'm just glad you're alright, and as for those guys don't worry we'll handle them" Esme said as she gave a funny smile
" thanks" Sofy muttered with a smile
" Yeah, we will be going now, thanks Esme for the invite" Max said as he held Sofy's hands so they walked out together

Outside Esme's compound ....
They walked to where Max's car was parked, Max quickly said hop in
" where's your driver ?" Sofy asked as she gasped
" I'm driving" Max replied gently as he open the front door for her to enter then passed through the drivers side
" WHAT?? do you want to kill me" Sofy yelled
" I can drive, my dad taught me, once I turned 18 I'll be getting my own car" Max replied trying to calm the panicked face
" I'm still scared though" Sofy sighed sharply
" don't be scared, maybe I will teach you how to drive soon" Max said
" Nah, I'm fine having a driver" Sofy replied
" what if your driver is not always around" Max asked
" I'll order a ride simple" Sofy said
" or you can always call me to take you round the world" Max said as they both burst into laughter.
Soon after they arrived at Sofy's house, she got down and thanked Max for the ride then entered, she went straight to her room, freshen up then quickly opened her diary in front of her then started writing
"Dear diary,
Today was eventful, and Esmeralda was really nice to me, too bad Mandy couldn't make it to the party, I was too scared when I fell into the pool, I thought of everyone and everything I'll miss, I thought of people I loved and people who loved me only to realize that the pool was just 5 feet deep, phew thanks to God and of course Maxine for helping get out of that water and taking care of me, it's still funny that I don't have his contact yet, well….. I was on my phone going to meet Melvin when some guys carried me and threw me into the pool, at that point I thought I was going to die since I couldn't swim" She quickly wrapped up then took her phone then went online, she received a text from Melvin then smiled widely.
